Follow the link to shutterfly and you'll see photos from our studio and the surrounding area around the Hilton Head DVC Resort. The pretty girl in the photos is DreAnna, my wife. (Her disboard name is DreAnna Clayton). Once you get into shuttefly, click on the slide show to enjoy!

You'll note that there is plenty of Disney Magic around if you look for it.

The last set of photos is from a Grand Villa. We are talking about getting one for the family later in the year.

One day I'll get the video editted down to fit in you tube and you can see our walks through the resort.

Just klick on this link: http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0IZuGTRuxasXjw&notag=1

Let me know what you think!

We just got back less than two weeks ago from a week's visit (6th annual). You are making me homesick!

It looks like a place that I would like to visit! Thank you for sharing them.

Enjoyed the pictures. We're hoping to make a trip down there one of these days. It looks like a great place.

Thanks so much. Now it's going to be such a l-o-n-g wait until November. And thanks for the pictures of Big Murgie's Den without a lot of people. At Thanksgiving it was PACKED! Can't wait to see the videos onyoutube.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. I've been to HH several times but never to the DVC. It is a terrific place.

WOW - Very nice - someday we'll get there...thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the pictures. We're stopping there for a night in late October. We've been wanting to try Hilton Head for a while now.

Tell me more about the room with the pool table....Is it usually crowded? Does it cost money to play pool? How much? We are planning a HH vacation for summer of '09. I know DH is going to want to golf alot, but I have no idea what DD7 & I will do.

Although I'm not the OP, I spend lots of time in that room with the pool table. I don't know if it's crowded in the summer, because we usually go off-season. If the weather's nice, everyone's out and no one's in Big Murgie's Den (that's the name of that room). Most importantly, no there's no charge for the pool. Every time I've been there it's always been just open and kind of honor system on how long people play-if anyone's waiting, it's polite not to play much longer, but if no one's waiting, play as long as you want. I had to laugh a few years ago when we were there in February-the weather was bad but Mom wanted the 2 teenaged boys to do "family" things. Well, you can imagine what the boys thought was fun (and what wasn't). Like going to Pinckney Island when it was cold, misting, miserable weather. The boys had the van pick them up at the main Lodge, where they were playing pool, and drop them off at the same place for the same reason. The rest of us got on and off down by Building 31, the main turnaround. I felt so bad for Mom-when the boys got out, she turned to me and said "At what age do you think they won't want to be with us anymore?" She looked so sad.

We visited the HHI resort one day in the middle of the summer (just to get some Disney Air) and they Pool room was full. They have many events going on throughout the day and week. They give you a schedule when you arrive. They even have Teen events!

I need to get some software to edit down the video before I can post it. It is something like 250meg of data and You Tube only allows 100 at a shot.

I do have a video of some streetmostphere from MK on You Tube if you would like.

Enjoy!

The pics are great, thank you for sharing! I have to find the time to get to HH...

Thanks for sharing, can I ask what is the weather like in January? We are sending my inlaws to HH for their 40th and am wondering what it is like.

It was cool, but, there were people in the pool at the beach house (the pool at the resort was down for renovations). It gets down into the 40s and 30s around here at night (I live about 45 miles from HHI, about 10 as the crow flies) in January, but, it can get colder if a front comes through. The rooms are warm and snuggly though.

Make sure they plan a trip down here to Savannah!

Thanks for the info. They will definately be going to Savannah and I think maybe Charleston as well.

Thanks for the pictures! I got excited seeing them as we are taking our first trip down this August!! :)

Great slideshow. I can't wait to experience the resort one day!
