Oh yes, not as crowded won me over. I hate things being to crowded.
There are over 250 restaurants on Hilton Head Island. Prices run the gamut from very reasonable to high end.Hilton Head is more upscale, few restaurants (expensive unless you go to a chain which are few and far between)
You will have a ton of traffic in either place, more so in Hilton Head because its a Island.

Traffic on Hilton Head itself is not bad. However, if you are arriving by car on a Saturday you can run into quite a bit of traffic getting on to the island as there is only one bridge.
I have to disagree with you. There are restaurants all over the island; North end, Main St., mid island, Port Royal Plaza/Pineland Station/Northridge, Shelter Cove, up and down Palmetto Bay Rd./Pope Ave./Coligny, New Orleans Road, Sea Pines Circle area and on to Sea Pines itself. There are so many restaurants on Hilton Head it's hard to choose!I have been to HH many times and uless you are staying in certain parts of the island, restaurants are pretty spaced out. Traffic is horrible during the holiday(just the same as Myrtle). We stay at the Westin normally, so it is a drive to eat unless you eat at the resorts. If you stay in the Sea Pines area, more restaurants, but I found more crowded with people.
