Anyone been to HH lately do they connection in rooms like WDW? Also have they upgraded to DVD players?

We were there over Easter. At the time, they did not have internet hook-up, but the CM did tell us of a couple of places nearby where we could go if we wanted to. Sorry, we never bothered and I can't remember where he suggested!

They were in the process of converting rooms from VHS to DVD. OUr room had a VHS player, but we called down and they switched us to DVD within about 15 minutes. It was no problem at all.

I think HHI is still Dial up... the front desk should have a list of local dial up numbers for major providers.... I know they had a local number for AOL.

We just got back from HH, definitely no internet access, although I was able to "see" a wireless access point for a company called Hargray that is an ISP just down the road from the resort. I assume I was seeing their corporate network but maybe they provide some sort of wireless access since they are an ISP. I used my cellphone with Verizon's "high speed" network and it worked fine, just slow.

Also, all rooms now have DVD players.

We just returned from HH and used dial-up without much of a problem. Also, both rooms had DVDs. HTH!

Thanks so much all for the internet info. Will probably connect thru dial-up while we're there. Glad to hear they have switched rooms to DVD. Only 4 days til we're there. Can't wait for Guiseppe's pizza.
