Hilton Head in January?

We have enough points that will expire in February for a full week at HH. Has anyone ever been in January. With it being too cold for the beach, is there enough other things to do to keep us busy for a week? It would be 4 adults, 3 kids ages 12, 9 and 2.

Thanks for anyone's feedback that has been there before during the winter.
