DH loves to golf at HH too. I'm not sure, but I don't think you get discounts through the resort. The reason I think that is that I just called the resort a few weeks ago and they sent me a listing of some local courses and rates (the resort will make all the arrangements for you). Well, DH went to the websites of some of those courses, and found that the rates were exactly as quoted by the resort. So, since he's one of these crazy golfers who loves to see all the information and deal with the golf course directly, he'll probably make his own tee times with the courses. It seems that the Palmetto Dunes courses (there are 3) across the main highway from the resort are supposed to be very good. Last year DH played some big course in Harbortown, very expensive but a dream of his. Glad he's not planning to go back there! Cheapest rates, I think, at most of the courses, are November through February. That's why we're going in February. Can you tell what DH's favorite passtime is?
