Hi

Its been a while since I posted but need some information/help. We have been to Hilton Head just after Christmas in the past, but this year we are going to arrive on December 23rd and stay until New Years. Does anyone know if Disney has any type of Christmas Tree Package you can buy. If not that anyone know a close place near the resort where you can buy a tree. Also do they have any type of special activites/meals on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day.

Thanks Kevin

PS If anyone is going same time giver a shout and will take you on in a game of shuffle board...LOL

We're not going for Christmas, but we're going for Thanksgiving and the resort offers a meal (precooked) then. I'll ask them about Christmas dining options. I'd love to go for Christmas some year.

We have been to HHI during Christmas week for the past three years. The kids have been able to swim 2 out of the 3 times. They have lots of activities camp fires etc. But it is so RELAXING, no hussling here and there. I love to sit on the porch, read the paper, and to take a nap. I apologize to my past and future neighbors for my snoring...LOL. Try this time of year you just may like it....

HHI is very quiet and relaxing at Christmas time. The island is not overrun with tourists. Yet the weather is still pleasant and sometimes warm enough for a swim. Bike rides are always great as are side trips to Savannah or Charleston.

For excellent holiday light viewing be sure to visit Dove Street, which is south island....the whole street does super decorations. The fire station mid island also has a great light display!

Enjoy!

You cannot have a live tree, but can pick up a artificial one. Most of the stores will be cutting the price of trees and decorations drastically by then. Walmart will be trying to unload their stock.

We picked up a one for so cheap we used it that once and tossed it when we left HH . People will decorate their balconies with lights for Christmas. You can join others guests and Disney cast members for caroling throughout the resort.

The main building is really nicely decorated and has cookies and hot apple cider in the evening.

The Hilton Head cast members are the greatest!!!

The past few years we have checked in the day after Christmas. There are always people with lights and those blow-ups on their porches. We love being there at that time of year. Very quiet and the weather is usually perfect for bike rides.

I am not a HH owner and was able to get HH for Christmas the two times I have tried.

We always go to HHI for summer and never thought about Christmas or any other cold weather time, but sounds wonderful!! We love the HHI resort and it is so relaxing, I'm sure winter is even more laid back. Hmmm....maybe some year. :)
