Some ? I have for upcoming trip 7/2 - 7/7:

I'm looking at an activities calendar from 3/12/06, (we stopped 1 nt. on our drive home from cruise to see HH), the only activity I see which could include our ds7 and ds3 for a 3 hr. time period is on sat. for disney discovery club. Does anyone know if in the summer this is offered on more days?

Also, are there special activities for 7/4 other than the Shelter Cove fireworks?

Has anyone rented a tagalong for a toddler to attach to your own bike?

Is there anything to see/do in Harbour Town?

What's your opinion of the Shrimp boil?

Thanks

Can't be of too much help, but here goes..
I would call HHI & ask them to fax or email an activities schedule to you.
the Shrimp Boil, thought it was okay.
The shrimp & pork loin very tasty & plentiful. All the food was good.
Not enough fresh lemon, and oddly the clarified butter & cocktail sauce were pre-packaged. Cocktail sauce, for our tastes was nasty --but hey, we make a terrific shrimp cocktail & are, originally, from the 'Ocean State' so we are spoiled!
Thought it odd that they did not make their own cocktail sauce, as it is so easy.
Yes, it's a little overpriced, but it is a resort area & Disney, so to be expected.
We had a good time! Beautiful view of the beach, too! :thumbsup2

All in all we were satisfied & the service was terrific! B'lou Crabbe delightful & everyone was friendly & up for a good time. we'll do it again--just bringing our own sauce & plenty of lemon slices! :teeth:

During the summer months, most of the kids' activities are offered more than once per week, to allow more guests to participate. There may even be a few more activities than your March schedule shows. :cheer2:

There will most likely be a poolside BBQ on July 4, as well as a poolside party. These are the same things that are offered on the "Star Spangled Tuesdays" throughout the summer, to coincide with the fireworks. Normally, during the 4th of July week, the BBQ and fireworks are on the 4th, but there are also fireworks on Tuesday night; this year, I guess it's all on Tuesday.

Harbour Town is a fun place to visit. But just be warned that it will be VERY crowded. You are probably best off parking your car just inside the Sea Pines gates and taking the trolley -- otherwise you may look for a parking space FOREVER! Climbing the lighthouse is fun and you get a great view of the area. If you go to Harbour Town, go to South Beach too, to see the Salty Dog. Both areas have lots of cute shops.

Spending the 4th of July at HH has become a tradition for our family -- I can't wait! :sunny:
