Hilton Head 2nd week May possibility?

Hi folks,

Its been a while since I've touched base with all of you and curious to see if anyone has any idea as to if this could work out for us. I am looking into planning a trip to HH in May from the 8th to the check out on the 13th. First of all, are kids out that early in the south? How likely are we to get a one bedroom for that time period? Are the programs in full swing at that time? How crowded is it then? Any advice? Any and all suggestions/input is appreciated.

You should have no trouble booking HH at for that time. April is busy there with Spring Break and the golf tournament, but May slows down until around Memorial Day. After that..... You should even have a good chance at getting that 1BR! The resort will probably be fairly quiet, as will the beach. (Air temps should be nice, but the ocean will probably still be just a tad chilly, LOL!)

Schools in the South are out early, but not quite THAT early, LOL. It's usually just before Memorial Day, so you'll be long gone by then.

Probably most of the "usual" programs will be available, but probably just not as often as during the busy times. Enjoy your visit!!
