Hilton DTD and EMH

Just back from a great onsite WDW trip and time to start planning and freaking about the next one.

Our next trip we are staying at the Hilton in DTD, primarily because DH has racked up enough Hilton points from business trips to earn a free stay. Can't beat that!

According to Hilton's website, their guests can participate in EMH, even though they are not an official Disney hotel. Does anyone have any experience with this? Did you have any trouble getting into EMH with a Hilton resort ID? Disney's website does not confirm this that I can find, I'm sure because they want you to stay in one of their own resorts.

We just got back from a Pop stay and at EMH they were scanning room keys to confirm you were an onsite guest. I am afraid that we will be at the mercy of the CM at the wristband distribution site to know that Hilton participates.

I would love some reports from someone who has 'been there, done that'.

Hi! We have stayed at the Hilton many times (free stays as DH is Diamond!)
Just remember to carry your Hilton card with you in the lines (1 per person even kids) and you will get your wrist bands.
In 2 trips , we had only 1 cast member question this, and we asked him to get another CM to verify--that took 20 seconds and we got the bands.)

Also--gold and diamond members stay on the towers and get free breakfast and snacks!
