Hilton Clearwater renovations ?

Hi Have just been on the website and have found this
Please Note: The Hilton Clearwater Beach is replacing sliding glass doors on all rooms from now to July. Major hotel enhancements will occur from July to October. There will be moderate noise from 8am to 6pm.
I hope it won't affect our stay but you never know.
We have booked through Virgin but have not heard anything from them as of yet!! We are only staying for 3 nights at the start of our hols , just to chill and get use to the Florida weather etc but I don't know if I want to hear banging etc during the day. I don't mind too much as hopefully we will be around the pool/beach for a good amount of time, saying that I would like to know the extent of the enhancements .
Has anybody heard anything?

When we booked over the phone in January the girl on the other end told us that a lot of clearwater was undergoing a major renovation this year. We were considering a week in clearwater but to be honest we changed our minds as we didn`t want to take a chance (we`re quite unlucky). We booked with virgin so they do know. Not sure what the current state is though and to be honest haven`t seen any comments about it on various sites so maybe it`s not as bad as it sounded.
