Hilton by LAX

Staying at the Hilton by LAX the night before my Mexican Riviera Cruise. I am from Michigan and have never been to Cali...so wondering how far the Hilton is from LAX? Anyone else stayed here? How nice is it? Shuttles to the airport? How often? TIA

Technically, it is no more than 5 minutes, but the shuttle usually takes 15 minutes if no traffic (also stops at the sheraton).

Anyone else stayed here?

Yes, multiple times for conferences and once because of a United mix-up.

How nice is it?

It is nice enough. The pillows are really comfortable. Good views as long as you are 9 or so stories up. The lobby is pretty and the quick-serve like place is expensive, but good.

Shuttles to the airport?

Yep.

How often?

They run about every 15-30 minutes. Also stop @ sheraton, so be sure to get on early. Also, you will need to watch for the shuttle at the airport pick up. If they don't get flagged down or have people getting off @ the terminal zones (1-7), they don't stop. Think flagging a NY taxi
