Im thinking of booking the Hilton for business trip I'll be on in July. Just curious how late the ART busses run? I know it's a fairly easy walk, but if I decide to catch a game at ESPN Club I was wondering how late the pick ups are. Also curious as to where in the Downtown Disney area the stop is located or is it at the main gate entrances? Thanks!

Based on that -it looks like I would go to the Disneyland Main Transportation area ..that should be easy enough from DTD

By the time you walk to the main ART spot at Disneyland you could have walked back to the Hilton IMO. But I'm picturing the spot near the esplanade.

I'll have to google earth it. For some reason I have in my mind that I would have to walk right by that spot to get to the Hilton. I realize it's a short walk, but after working all day, then going to ESPN for a couple beers -I might not feel like walking at 11PM.

Walking from ESPN to Hilton, you wouldn't walk all the way back to the transportation area. You'd walk on Disneyland Drive. You'd turn left on Katella and be right by the convention center, which I believe is right next to the Hilton.

If you walk to the transportation center, you walk through Downtown Disney and go through disney security (if the parks are open) to get to the other side where the buses pick up/drop off. It would probably save you a few steps, but may not be worth it. If you don't feel like walking, maybe you could take an Uber. It would be their minimum charge, which is $5.

EDIT: after looking at Google, my way would be 1.5 miles, whereas walking the transportation route would be 1.4 miles (walking the whole way without taking ART). Taking the transport would be a good choice if you didn't have to wait long.

I appreciate you looking into that for me ...primarily, that is what I was wondering. Uber is fine with me -I'll take a look on google later tonight. Thanks again!

I don't know if this route is shorter, but you could go through either the DLH or the GCH to have Uber or a taxi pick you up at the front. DLH is closer to ESPN Zone.

We just stayed at the Hilton last week. On our first night we were leaving the ESPN at Downtown Disney. Daughter wore converse with no socks all day and just wanted to get back to the room. We had never used Uber before we checked from ESPN and Uber was 1.7 surcharge and 12 minute wait. We walked to the Paradise Pier hotel as the kids needed a bathroom. From in front of the PP hotel Uber switched to a 1.3 up-charge and 3 minute wait. To the Hilton it was $6.13. This was on a Thursday night at 10:00ish. So, I understand it could all change depending on date and time. However, we are now big fans of Uber it was quick and easy and cheaper than ART for our family of 4.

Thanks for that info -that's perfect for me. I'll probably walk there then grab an Uber from PPH to get back. How did you enjoy the Hilton?

The lobby of the Hilton is beautiful. It has a bar, restaurant, Starbucks and gift shop. If you are not already a member of the Hilton Honors program then you need to join just for its own check in desk. The room was a fairly standard hotel room, clean two beds. However, the negative is that you can clearly hear every sound in the hall. The problem is families return from the park at various times and leave at various times. So from 9:00-1:00 at night and 6:00 on in the morning you can hear every word said as families walk past. our room was not near the elevators.

When I was checking in I heard the guy next to me ask about the business/quite floor. I am not sure if you can request that when checking in or booking you room.

Hope that helps.

That's good to hear -I am a HH member. Noise won't be a problem ...I'm usually up unti 11P then will be up by 5A. This is primarily a business trip, although I should have two full days and maybe a night or two free as well.
