I dont see any of us here on this thread flocking to McCain just because he picked her:confused3
Just ignore him/her, it hasn't happened. I've seen one flat out state that they now will not vote for McCain b/c of Palin, most are still indecisive and jacksonsmom and I are usually on par with politics and we've both stated before that McCain will likely get our votes come Nov.

I guess this proves my point that HS were voting based purely on gender...

You are doing a wonderful job for McCain! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Are you getting paid, ot you just want to see JMC in the WH?

I agree, just ignore the people who are trying to ruffle feathers.

I was 95% sure I was voting for McCain BEFORE Palin was his VP. The only person like I stated I did not want was Romney as a VP. I truly don't know if I would have voted for McCain then (NO, I still would not have voted for Obama though!)

SO just because McCain has a woman VP didn't make me automatically go in McCain's corner, Obama had already push me there before Palin's name was announced ;)

Is McCain's "using" her to get votes? Oh sure, ALL politicans say/do/use people to attract votes. It's the name of the game.
Are some people going to vote for McCain because he has a woman VP? Yeah, I am sure there will be --- but there are some people voting for Obama just because he is black! So it goes both ways

I am enjoying today and the annoucement because I can hear worry in some supporters of Obama. I am think it is funny how some supporters of Obama is putting down Palin because she is a mother with young children or because she is inexperienced when Obama is also a father of young children and is inexperienced. I just think it is kind of humorous ;)

Well I find it funny that Hillary stated that anyone who was a true supporter of her would never even think of voting McCain. :rotfl2: Way to support your girl! ;)

What "tactics"? I'm only speaking the truth, and I don't see anyone refuting it either. :confused3

I do support both Bill and Hillary, always have, always will BUT they do not tell me who to vote for.

Hillary did what she had to do and said what she had to say. I do not believe for one minute she thinks Obama will lead this Country into the right path. But she is smart and she will save her OWN career. I don't fault her for that, she has to do what she has to do to survive as a politican

I did my OWN research on Obama and don't like what I found him to be, I make up my own mind not because some one tells me I should vote for Obama because of the "party" or because McCain is 4 more years of Bush --- I will make my own opinion of that thanks to my right to vote for anyone I choose :thumbsup2

You are over in the OT telling everyone that we are all know supporting McCain because he has picked a woman for as his VP and talking about "See it was all about gender all along"...that is a lye and you are spreading them.

What you feel like you can't win with the truth :rolleyes1

You should have blind obedience to your chosen candidate. Later this week, Hill is going to list her favorite choice of ice cream flavors. I hope I like my new favorite!

Uh Oh I am in trouble if it is anything with marshmellow creme in it!

Guess I won't be a true supporter if it is rocky road

Is she now? :rotfl2:

MAF: you funny

:rotfl2:

Got Disney, again, just ignore the troll. She obviously has selective reading. She's probably ticked because all the HS on this thread didn't immediately jump on the McCain bandwagon today because he picked a female VP. We blew the only theory that she could come up with (other than having to admit her own choice in candidate’s huge flaws that are keeping a lot of us from marking him on our ballots come Nov.) out of the water so she probably hopes that if she keeps telling us and the OS on the other thread that we’ve all jumped on the McCain bandwagon just because it the VP is female - it'll come true. Otherwise, she’s just going to have to face the harsh truths about her candidate.

There better be peanut butter in it. Otherwise, my Vote for Hillary button is going out the window. I must have peanut butter. And coffee. Actually, I am now really craving Cold Stone. Thanks you guys

Ew, lots of troll activity here. That's a surprise - NOT!

As for Palin, I'm going to do my research because I don't know a thing about her and I make it a rule to look into people before I slam them. I think some of the tactics being used such as how wrong it was for her to be governor while she has a newborn with special needs or her being too inexperienced are a bit bizarre though.

I did get really annoyed with Obama for a few seconds though. It was kind of an 'even McCain can pick a woman so why not you!' moment but then a cooler head prevailed. ;) McCain's pandering and it's pointless IMO.

I did hear that McCain supposedly hadn't ever met her but said she seemed like a nice woman with quite a story. If that's true, had never met her? That seems odd.

Peanut butter and coffee? Um, no it has to have chocolate.
