Hillary Supporters unite part 2; no bashing please

There were stories of no room at the inn - so people were writing their candidate choice on a piece of paper and leaving - maybe leaving 10 - 20 pieces of paper? Several participants of this thread have a story or two to tell about the caucuses. Not to mention that they "disenfranchise" voters who can't show up at a particular time .......... whereas primaries elections allow all day voting.......

The DNC needs to replace all caucuses with primaries - including Iowa!!! And they need to FIX Texas - who implores people to vote twice - once at the primary and once at a caucus? What is up with that!!??

Our caucus was a MESS!!! No one and I mean NO ONE, even the the supposedly "leaders" knew what to do with all these people. They finally shoveled a group of us in the school's libary. Then were told Sorry we don't have any ballots so every one scribbled a name on a blank piece of paper and then thrown it in a trash can to be counted later "supposedly"

Do you know they "checked" a person in? A piece of blank notebook paper went around all the tables and you wrote your name down on it, no checking ID or nothing. What was to stop someone from voting more then once?NOTHING!! I even made a comment about that while I was there and was told that is how it is.

I did not see ANY older people on the caucus. It was late at night and I am sure past most of their bedtime.

It was the most unorganized thing ever! There is NO WAY to get an accurate voting period on any of these caucuses! They are a JOKE!!!!!!

I'm not at all surprised by the Republicans going after Hillary supporters. You've got a huge group of voters who are trying to decide what to do next and some are Independents, Reagan Democrats, moderate Republicans and just plain unhappy Democrats. Any decent campaign would be jumping at them right now. I think that a lot will depend on both Hillary and Obama's activities in the upcoming days.

Lieberman does surprise me a bit though.

I'm not at all surprised by the Republicans going after Hillary supporters. You've got a huge group of voters who are trying to decide what to do next and some are Independents, Reagan Democrats, moderate Republicans and just plain unhappy Democrats. Hillary would run circles around Lieberman. Actually Obama would do the same with McCain. These two Democrats would stomp these two guys into the ground - I'm sitting here practically drooling at the thought.

I actually like Joe Lieberman. I think he is very knowledgable on foreign policy. I think his pairing with McCain would be a good pairing. However, McCain's health care plan scares me.

I heard something on a news channel last night. There were guys on, giving opinions on the whole Obama Clinton thing, most were very pro Obama. But one guy mentioned that Obama comes out of very corrupt Chicago politics.
They quickly cut away from this guy, but the message was already out there. He called Chicago politics a cesspool of coorruption.

I have no doubt, if Obama is elected president, the republicans will try to have a version of a chicago machine scandal - ala the whole whitewater mess. In politics - all you need is the appearance of a scandal to cause problems.......

If it is true there will be nothing he or she could say that would fix what she said.....it is not his base of supporters that he will need to worry about. It will be all the others. It will be spun that it is not Michelle that is running to be POTUS it is Obama....but that will matter not.

I will take deep offense to it if it is true. But I cant believe that if it was true that it would be out already Unless the RNC has it and wont release it or it may be gotten by a McCain swift-boaters and they are awaiting the right time...down the road where it will be to late to use to get Hillary in but at the right time...like a week before voting in NOV to bring it out. If released today by 5 months it would just blow over like all the others have. Wait till a few weeks before voting and it would be very fresh in everyone's mind.

Bringing a tape out like that today would only help Hillary and not McCain...
