Hillary Supporters unite part 2; no bashing please

That is so true...for example in last night's speech in Iowa Obama spoke of HRC is very positive terms and talked of wanting to unite the party. He has been saying this, but akhenaten is right, you have to be listening....if you won't even give him a chance how can you know about the positive steps he has taken toward uniting the party...it is not lost on Obama that he needs all dems, of course he knows this and has made an effort to start the process.

Yes he did but words are words...he needs to convince us. He needs to tell us that he needs us and that he will do everything he can to do a great job even though his experience is not perfect that he will fight to the bone as Hillary has because he cares about this country.....he needs to show us.

He needs to win our hearts by showing us back bone and a fighting personality...he needs to take on some of what Hillary is. That is what we want to see...that he believes that the USA is worth fighting for.....and that we are all important. OS have seen him different than what we have. You may have seen this out of him but we clearly have not.

If he needs Hillary's help to do this than hopefully when this is over he will open up to her and they can work together to achieve this.

But really, Rev Wright is a major issue for me. And not about the black & white thing. It was about the anti American thing. If Obama had sat in that church for a year, maybe I'd forgive it. But not 20 years--Now I don't trust him. I wonder how truthful he is.
Also, he denouced Rev Wright. Well that was 20 years too late.
And lets not forget Rev Wright praising Farakahn. And Obama sat in those pews for 20 years, I just don't get it. Obama has questionable character to me.

I was not aware that rev. wright was running for office...

I could care less about his flag pin. It isn't an issue and you know it. But Rev Wright is. ANd he could lose the general election over it.

If you are indeed serious about not voting for Obama if he should be the nominee, yes you have made yourself irrelevant to the discussion within the Democratic party.

The Democratic party would be smarter to to run a massive voter registration drive than waste time courting people who will not vote for the nominee, Obama.

Apparently, nothing short of a Hillary candidacy will satisfy you, which will not happen. Since you've made your choice clear, you have nothing to offer. End of story.

You can't negotiate when the only thing you're offering is "my way or the highway". Take the highway.

The heck with the Party....this is about the people...not the stupid private run party.....they lost my respect when they decided to disenfranchise voters...if they cared so much about the party they would have come up with different rules....The DNC has been terribly run for many years and they choose to not fix it. That is why more and more DEMS are turning Independent.

so throwing the party around is irrelevant here. People that just vote the party and vote all the way down party lines whether they like the candidates for mayor or Elected officials are nothing but DEM puppets....

What would you have done if Obama was running on the REP side.....and you fell in love with what he had to say....would you still stay a DEM because of the confused3
