Since you asked....I will tell you...
I was once a big bill clinton fan.......but was very dissapointed in his presidency.......I don't think he lived up to the potential he had to become a fantastic president.
I was never a big hillary fan....but if she had won the nomination I would have considered voting for her.
One issue I have with her is that I personally don't believe all that she says.... The sniperfire story being a prime example....

Former South Philly, now in New Jersey. sweetie usually isn't in my vocabulary either. Niether is "Yall", meaning You all. We usually say you's guys or something to that effect.

May I ask what you didn't like about Bill, meaning was it his personal life or how he ran the country.

i would say both.......
nafta....middle class continued to shrink...etc.
and his personal life was sad.....but other presidents had that issue.....but until bill I was not aware of the mulitple definitions of "is"....

I loved Bill and still do in spite of everything. I think he did a lot of good. Was he perfect? Certainly not but I appreciated a lot.

However, it's interesting that when asked about Hillary you mention Bill first. Hillary is not Bill! I would hate it if people assumed I was the same as my DH. He's a good guy but a polar opposite of me in so many respects.

Yes - I've been using this thread as my escape from reality - and some of the posts have gotten quite mean-spirited - which is not helping me escape!

We've completely forgotten - most of us are Democrats - and used to be on the same team - and hopefully will be on the same team come November.

Please can we try to remember that when talking to each other?

And both sides are guilty of it.

Also, let's please respect those that may choose not to vote Democratic this year - it is their right to do so - even though we may not agree with them.

That's what most people recalled about that era in US history... until a few months ago. Then most everyone conveniently forgot.
