I don't care if I get points or banned.
Hey MAF thanks for joining the party.
Maybe if you read both of the entire threads, you would see that there are a few of your own friends that do not support Obama/Clinton ticket.
I would like to thank all of the Obama supporters who post regularly for showing us - the Hillary supporters some respect tonight.
I've learned a lot from you guys this year, and I do not let anything you say affect me personally. I've gotten a lot of laughs and hope to talk to all of you on the Liberal thread as we set aim on Senator McCain.

 Wow. Apparently I've missed out on a few of MAF's post. Must be on the Obama thread as I won't step foot in there.. been there enough already.

Since I've publicly stated that I don't want a joint ticket and my reasons for why; I will assumed that I was one of the people being bashed. Thank you DisneyDad1960 for sticking up for those of us who apparently have a different view than what some people would like us to have.

HMMMM me thinks maybe she did this speech like this so not to get the VP....if it is not offered to her than she cant look bad if she were to turn it down,......she wont upset her followers.....

Me also thinks that if I was Obama I would not want Hillary and Bill living downstairs from me:rotfl2: that would be painfull for the Obamas....

I think Hillary needs to wait for 4 years and come back again. I think she needs to help bring the party together.....and go back to the senate and if Obama crashes and burns than he crashes and burns.....and if not than better for us.

How could anyone say that Obama would "disrespect" Hillary if she was his VP? I didn't get one ounce of that impression by tonights speech. In fact, what he said about Hillary tonight was not only amazing, but TRUE! Hillary was awesome and would make a great VP. Let's make this happen!

I saw CNN crapping on Hill's speech as well. Funny, but on MSNBC, the Obama network if you will, they praised her pretty well, and rightly so.

For purely selfish reasons, whether some of you guys would vote for a dream ticket or not, I'd sure like to see it. I think both Hill and Obama together could change the world if we gave them a shot. That being said, I'm not interested in trying to coax those of you guys over tonight of all nights, I just wanted to extend a warm salute on a hard fought primary.

You are very confusing. First you laugh at us and now you want Hillary as VP?

I have always wanted the "Dream Ticket" no matter who was the front runner. Yes laughing was HIGHLY immature, but I just got sick of Hillary supporters talking trash in our thread for the past few months. I'm sorry, I truly am.

Dolce27 not bashing you at all.
I was angry at MAF for coming here throwing out a couple of Hillary bashes and running back to the Obama thread with a "hey look what I did and can you believe what they are saying" I have been reading that junk for a few months and I'm tired of it.
You have been a great source of information for me. We may not see eye to eye on the joint ticket, but I have been calling this since the beginning and I will not jam my opinion down anyones' throat.
I am a husband and father first, an American second and a Democrat third.
I don't take any of the political talk personally.

OK, question:

How many of you would actually support an Obama/Clinton ticket?

I'm not for it. The reason I'm not for it is because I don't think Obama would give Hillary any respect at all as his VP. I don't think he'd listen to any advice she'd offer. I think he'd take the credit for anything she'd get done in the administration. I honestly believe that if he were to screw up this country he'd use her as his scapegoat.

I just don't think that would be a good ticket.

I agree with you (SURPRISE!) ;)

I actually don't want to see it because everything Obama does wrong, not just Obama will blame Hillary but the media and public also.

The thing is I really don't see Obama respecting any person, be it male or female, that he picks as a VP.

I am trying not to be sounding hateful, but Obama just seems very very aggorant. I would hate to work with him!

I seriously have no idea what I would do if it does become an Obama/Clinton ticket! A LOT of soul searching I guess.

I just wanted to peek in and congratulate you all for having supported a strong candidate who gave a graceful speech tonight. I'm proud, as a woman and a Democrat, to see how far she has come.

As far as I'm concerned, I hope any of you who are interested will join us in the Obama thread whenever you would like to do so, for some respectful discourse. We've got a lot more in common than not, and I will do my part to make you feel welcome if you choose to visit. :thumbsup2

Thank you! I really wish more OS had your attitude.

Sadly the bitter, vile and mean spirited ones seem to be the loudest.

Yes let's judge someone from how they "seem"...

MAF...I would think that you would want to spend your night like this :yay: :dance3: :cool1: :woohoo: and happy ...not waist your time bashing us or saying...." I just have one thing to say....ha ha ha ha HA!"......go have some fun in the Obama thread and dont worry about u swe will be just fine...promise...:thumbsup2

I'm not bashing anyone, I'm just here to defend my candidate, that is all. :thumbsup2

But you are defending him in the Hillary thread...on a night like tonight......go have fun but not at our expence tonight....:)

Ok fine I will leave you all alone, *I can hear the cheering now* but just remember that it is NOT over for Hillary. She can still make a difference and a change in this country. :thumbsup2

ITA. Tonight is yours to celebrate with other Obama Supporters and not over here defending anything.

My fellow Hillary supporters.....my heart is breaking tonight.....breaking....

I'm crying here............

I can't even cry. I'm too numb and sick to my stomach. After going through Bills impeachment, the campaign of 2000, the way Kerry was treated and now this? I'm physically ill. I've always loved the DNC and everything they supposedly stood for. But lately them seem like gutless wonders. Never truly standing up for what is right.

If I was in Hillary's inner circle, I would tell her to tell the DNC to kiss my behind and run Independant! In a GE if they all get the same votes as they did in the Primary She wins!

Part of me wishes that too. But the electoral college is a whole other ball of wax. I just don't know if I think she could beat the EC.

I have always wanted the "Dream Ticket" no matter who was the front runner. Yes laughing was HIGHLY immature, but I just got sick of Hillary supporters talking trash in our thread for the past few months. I'm sorry, I truly am.

Because the Obama people never trashed talked in our thread? Maybe you should flick back through the pages and read a few posts. There's a few OS who made regular appearances in here with their trash talking selves. And then there's the little vermin that posted in here in 50 point red font.

Give me a break. The OS are not victims.

Well everyone ... I, for one, am happy it is all over. Hillary had a great campaign, but I am looking forward to beating McCain in November. I would LOVE to see Hillary as VP.

Does anyone have a link to tonight's speech? The talking heads on CNN are kvetching about it.

Hey, I have never been to this thread as I am an os but I just want to say I agree 100% When deciding who I would like I was very close to choosing Hillary. I mostly just lurk on the Obama thread and have not voiced my opinion very often but now that things have changed I want to give a :thumbsup2 to the two of them joining forces. It would be a phenomenal and historic event!::yes:: There is much disagreement and emotions involved but I am sure that we all want what is best for our country!:hippie:
