And how did he deal with the Wright thing when it didn't go away after 'The Speech'? His camp pushed the Bosnia thing. Then the day after the debate he's all over Clinton for 'going negative' but he understands. That's old politics and how you respond when you're behind. News flash-It's also how you respond old politics wise when the heat is too hot in the kitchen for yourself. But keep peddling the line that your different. It's obvious people believe it.Why do I say that? Well for one - while he (and his supporters) may not like that he is still getting questions about his relationship with Rev Wright - he should expect them. He should have a stock answer and have it down pat by now. The fact that he can be so shaken by this shows a stunning lack of preparation on his part. Our POTUS has to be prepared for anything that is going to be thrown their way - even the stuff they don't want to deal with. Especially the stuff they don't want to deal with.
His camp has been caught numerous times pushing negative things behind the scenes. And the cookies line in the debate was also a premeditated negative attack to swing the elite tag onto HC and away from him. But he doesn't go that way. OK. They all do it, but only one candidate is making the claim that they're different and since they have nothing else to run on, making it the foundation of their campaign.
It's a parallel with the Republican who is anti-gay rights who gets caught with a male intern- he looks like a major hypocrite.
