Why do I say that? Well for one - while he (and his supporters) may not like that he is still getting questions about his relationship with Rev Wright - he should expect them. He should have a stock answer and have it down pat by now. The fact that he can be so shaken by this shows a stunning lack of preparation on his part. Our POTUS has to be prepared for anything that is going to be thrown their way - even the stuff they don't want to deal with. Especially the stuff they don't want to deal with.
And how did he deal with the Wright thing when it didn't go away after 'The Speech'? His camp pushed the Bosnia thing. Then the day after the debate he's all over Clinton for 'going negative' but he understands. That's old politics and how you respond when you're behind. News flash-It's also how you respond old politics wise when the heat is too hot in the kitchen for yourself. But keep peddling the line that your different. It's obvious people believe it.

His camp has been caught numerous times pushing negative things behind the scenes. And the cookies line in the debate was also a premeditated negative attack to swing the elite tag onto HC and away from him. But he doesn't go that way. OK. They all do it, but only one candidate is making the claim that they're different and since they have nothing else to run on, making it the foundation of their campaign.

It's a parallel with the Republican who is anti-gay rights who gets caught with a male intern- he looks like a major hypocrite.

Kiki, I agree with you 100% and this is why I will not vote for him either. I also couldn't look at myself in the mirror if I did. If he gets the Dem nod, the Republicans will be taking him down.. I've already heard of some of the powerful ads against him their working on for the general election and Obama will not stand a chance.

I'll probably be writing in Hillary on my ballot also, I don't think that I could stomach McCain as president but like you, I'm in Texas and this state always votes Republican in the general.
Yes, I think that Texas will continue to go Republican. These are some seriously devout people here.

Spot on!

BTW - Congrats on that beautiful baby! So - are you going with Daniel DisUnc?:rotfl:

I am sooooooooooooooooo with you on this. BO is sooooooooo UNELECTABLE! I hope the rest of the (very quiet) SD's see it this way too. I think they do, thats why they are being so quiet.

Speaking of SD's.....I think it is rather 'nervy" of Dean to tell them to Hurry up, while he STILL has done NOTHING in reference to Fl & MI!
Time for Dean to step down!:thumbsup2

You are preaching to the choir! I agree with you 100%. I will go one more for you - he scares me and I think he could potentially be dangerous for our country. .

He has the same arrogance as W!!!!!!:scared1:

Because he is OBAMA, and never had the Press ask him any tough questions. His pat answer is "I addressed this in my speech"...so YOU CAN NOT QUESTION ME.
He is a very manipulitive man!

Good news!

I have always wondered about polls though. Aren't they ALWAYS going to be limited to the people that feel like responding to them on any given day? I know people like my brother will never respond - just doesn't want to take the time.

The other day on some radio talk show....someone was talking about this. They said MOST Americans do not participate in Polls when asked. Hillarys core group, hang up on pollsters! However it is a "Known" in the polling industry that Obama supporters will TALK to anyone.

I like the one poll I post from time to time, Survey America. They use computers to call people at random, and the questions are given from a computer generated voice. Then the people respond to "push1, "push 2"...etc. So there is NO HUMAN Biased at all.
They were the ones who were 100% accurate in Ohio, and have Hillary ahead by Huge amounts in PA.
Unfortunately they are not polling this weekend due to the Passover holiday!

BTW - Congrats on that beautiful baby! So - are you going with Daniel DisUnc?:rotfl:

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I read that somewhere else on the Disboards:rolleyes1 Sounds good too me!
:rotfl2:

Whats more Hypocritical is that

His claim has always been that Hillary has no Experience....YET he will use a line that she said 15 years ago "As a Private Citizen"!:rolleyes1

Quite frankly I dont even get the correlation! Its like when you yell at one kid cause they made a mess, and their defense is that their sibling did the same last year!:rolleyes1

If he can blame Hillary for what she said all those years ago....Then Lets open the flood gates and talk about issues from years ago.
Obama was very defensive about what the Weatherman guy did all those years ago!

His logic is very Elitist...You cant attack me, because I am Wonderful!:sad2:

Grow up Obama, You cant have it both ways!

NEWSFLASH 2 - OLD POLITICS IS THE NEW POLITICS...and you are simply Foolish to think it will change. It is human nature, been like that since July 4, 1776 and will ALWAYS BE SO.

NEWSFLASH 3 - OBAMA WANTS EVERYBODY TO PLAY BY HIS RULES OR HE WONT PLAY WITH YOU.

NEWSFLASH 4 - WHEN WAS THE CONVENTION HELD WHERE EVERYONE AGREED TO PLAY BY OBAMA RULES? Where the new rules engraved on a tablet on top of Mt Rushmore? Did Oprah speak too him from behind a Burning' W' Bush?

I will most likely also write in Hillary. If she is not on a ticket with him if he wins the nod than that is what I plan to do at this point. I cant see anything but a bad mistake of inexperience coming with him, and a I can do it because well it is me :snooty: attitude.

He is playing old politics not new. When I listen to him I hear nothing on the issues on what he is going to do, how he is going to do it and where the money will come from. All I here is redrick of how the people want change and how he will not take money from Lobbyists and how he is going to change the way the congress is run but never one like how Hillary speaks.

She is always going into the whats hows and moneys of her plans. She gets right into the issues. I don't think alot of his followers get what old politics really is except for the Bush years. He has many people that have never voted before and according to the media many of the Black voters have never voted. :confused3

I cant see how he is going to change congress and uniting them. Same with people. Every time he gets put into a corner with a question he does not like he has to say...listen this is the stuff I'm talking about this is not what my candidacy is about I am about uniting this country and this is just the old politics stuff I am talking about ....

He is not the man I thought he was in the beginning. He is much weaker that I thought.

And by the way why are the older politicians not getting insulted by him always talking about what liars old politicians are...by old I mean been there many many years.

just a reminder that Obama only has 755,000 more votes than Hillary not counting FL and MI. They always make it sound like he has millions more than just that .

Barack Obama recently told CNN, "We've been very measured in terms of how we talk about Senator Clinton." MEASURED?? He and his campaign have called Hillary calculating, polarizing, divisive, dishonest, secretive, disingenuous and untrustworthy. So who's using the Republican playbook?

It stymies me that with that little ahead on both that the OS have the audacity (pun intended) for her to get out. I wonder how many of the SD have already made up their minds?

And for the idiot to tell the SD that they have to make up there minds starting know is rude. There not stupid they know what they need to do :confused3

I never liked him....and he is terrible for the DNC.

I will only vote for Hillary if she doesnt win I will not vote.
I will not for Obama, but my husband will vote for Obama, he will vote either one. I keep telling my husband I dont like him he acts too much like Bush.

When I listen to him I hear nothing on the issues yet he is very defensive on every thing that is being said. The Press seems to make him look good. Obama reminds me of Bush. I want a change but not Obama.

I don’t think that there is much in this article that most people don’t already know ...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080420/pl_nm/usa_politics_dc

But wasn't the editor of the The Tribune-Review (or maybe it was the entire editorial staff?) anti-Hillary until she showed up in their office and sat down with them?

:lmao:

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Could it be the "vast right wing conspiracy" is having second thoughts?
Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton was endorsed Sunday by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, whose owner and publisher, billionaire Richard Mellon Scaife, personally funded many of the investigations that led to President Clinton's impeachment in 1998

Here is a Article just on this subject.

Thanks for the USA Today article. Priceless! I'm just hoping she can get PA, VA and KY like she's favored to. I know Indiana is neck and neck and could go either way.

It will give us something to chat about in the upcoming weeks!:goodvibes

I like those numbers! She's spending much less and he's still spinning his tires there! That shows you that those gun and religion clingers don't like being looked down on.

His commercials run NONSTOP here in Pa. But they still sorta blur together. She does have fewer commecials, but they are very distinctive.

One of them is cool, they say just how bad the Obama Heath Care plan is...and then give you his phone number to call him and tell him to get real!:lmao:

Bill has been to my town, and they had a few Clinton Rallys here...BUT NOTHING for Obama, and he has never showed up here. Maybe he heard about me!:snooty:

:lmao:
