Hillary supporters Unit #3 ..yes we are still here!

Are we still squabbling?

I suspect that the truth about Obama and that other guy will come out eventually. That is if there is anything to find. I bet that the Republicans are digging frantically to find anything they can and it'll come to light if it's there.

Or even if it isn't.

I don't agree with that piece of legislation, but overall, Obama's still the best choice for me. I'll just do my calls over a skype account now.

To me that us a BIGGIE that I cant overlook. More so than the War vote. Because WE ALL KNOW what the FISA bill is, We all didnt know that the Bush admin was lying over WMD's, etc back then.

Whats skype????:confused3

so he should vote no and leave our troops over there without the supplies they need?? no way!!!!

No. But he wants it both ways.
What has he done as a US Senator to stop the war these past few years?

Also, since he 'makes believe" he voted NO for the war, I can 'make believe" that if he was able to vote, I am sure he would have voted YES. His argument is a Hypothesis that can never be proven.

I think by now they stopped digging, and got all they need.

Internet telephony. I can talk to other users of it for free and make calls to landlines for ridiculously cheap rates. I've been using it to keep in touch with friends and family all over since I moved offshore... it's saved me likely $1000+/month on international long distance charges (bear in mind, that for me to call stateside from the BVI, it costs me on average about $1.50/minute on my cellphone, as opposed to $0.02/minute via Skype). The catch is that I'm tethered to my laptop when I do this.

Another trick I've done is using my iTouch's wifi connectivity to do a similar process. Here's how I did it: http://lifehacker.com/378511/turn-your-ipod-touch-into-an-iphone

This proves that Obama has more of a relationship with Ayers than he will admit to and he's desperately trying to cover that right now. Actually, their relationship goes back to 1988 with the ABC's Organization and William Ayers is the one who launched Obama's political career at his, Ayers, house. Oh, and they were also on the Woodsboro Board Committee together.

If this is 'nothing' why is Obama passing this off publically as 'a guy who lives in the neighborhood' and is currently trying to suppress any info about the two of them being any more connected than that?

So what!? My old next door neighbor threw a birthday party for me and we've served on two committees together. I don't even consider her my friend nor have I seen her since she moved. We never had an argument. I just didn't like her and held no similar views with her yet somehow we were together a lot and polite. The new neighbors became our friends in hours. Just because you spend loads of time, even politically, with people in no way proves anything besides a formal nod. Here, fundraisers and politcal kick offs are held by the same people in the party all the time. A phone call is made, they agree, they meet the candidate when he or she walks through their door. In no way does it indicate friendship, just that they are all Republicans or Democrats. Surely you know that this is common and insist on ignoring the real details to make your point. It just doesn't work that way. I guess it's posssible that you know very little about political doings. I should give you the benefit of the doubt but would you do the same for me? I think not.

Hello Hillary supporters! I've always had great admiration for HRC, and would have proudly voted for her, even though I am voting for Obama.

That said, I can't help but think how amazing it would be to have her on the Supreme Court. A possible 4-8 years as President vs. potentially decades of influence on the Court.

The legal questions we face are complex and getting moreso: bioethics, privacy issues, technology, gender identification and sexual orientation issues. I would be thrilled to know that such a brilliant legal mind was deliberating on complex matters with such profound and far-reaching consequences for all of us.

How many buildings did your neighbor bomb?

And how many times did you deny on TV that you barely knew your neighbor?

What if your neighbor, on the other side of you, asked you over for coffe and told you that people were gossiping about your relationship with the neighbor. Would you call up everybody in your family to keep calling the your next door neighbor? Would you sue your next door neighbor?

This is what Obama is doing, he is trying to stop the HOST of the guest. NOT THE GUEST!

Either way he is using the strong arm of the law to suppress freedom of speech! Even Edwards didnt do that with the National Enquirer!

Nah! Hillary is a DO'ER, not a sit back and judge what other people are doing. Actually I can see Obama more in a SC mode.

FINALLY CNN REPORTS THE NEWS CORRECTLY. You guys/gals gonna love this. Check out the big red bolded statement.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Clinton congratulates Palin

Hillary Clinton praised the historic nature of John McCain's vice presidential selection in a brief statement released Friday that was eagerly anticipated by both presidential campaigns.

“We should all be proud of Governor Sarah Palin's historic nomination, and I congratulate her and Senator McCain," Clinton, the first woman to win a presidential primary, said in the statement. "While their policies would take America in the wrong direction, Governor Palin will add an important new voice to the debate.”.......

If you want to use terrorist to help you climb the political ladder and then when people are trying to expose that the 20 year relationship you have with said terrorist you try to do everything you can to prevent that exposure from attempting to get them into trouble with the federal government without cause to interrupting media outlets with hate in attempts to keep the issue from being spoken about… then, hey, go for it. :thumbsup2

I never said that Obama and Ayers are best friends; come to kids b-day parties, send each other Christmas gifts. It looks that Obama, knowing full well who William Ayers is, has had a relationship with him for the past 20 years because it helped him, Obama, politically to do so. And Obama is now lying through his teeth and using some underhanded tactics to try to keep that relationship hidden because it shows his lack of character judgment. It shows that he’ll be “friends” with anyone if it helps him on his political climb and it begs the question – what other “friends” does Obama have out there or what other “friends” will make Obama make when it’s in his best interest to do so?

But, hey, you guys can make any excuses for this guy all you want – I’ve seen it done over and over so far this election. But a guy who is political friends with a terrorist is not a guy that I want for my President. You may not care but Obama’s obviously worried about this relationship being exposed as he’s working overtime in attempts to keep this information away from the mainstream public.

I'm here, I'm here

Been reading what I missed last night. Wow, just wow on some of the comments :sad2:

I don't understand some of you, OS that come on here and try to bullied us into voting for Obama. If it hasn't worked by now, it isn't going to work, period.

I have heard time and time again that Obama doesn't "need" the Hs so why won't you just leave us alone and not worry who we are going to vote for.
If we are not that important for Obama to win, why the worry and hassle?

Oh and for those that say they don't understand how a HS can vote for McCain, we don't need you to understand or even explain it to you (but we have MANY times, you (general youi) don't want to accept our reasons).
I personally don't understand how someone can trust and vote for Obama, even if he is a Democrat, I don't harrass you (general you) on the OS thread asking "how could you?"
You have YOUR reasons why you can vote for the man and I have MY reasons why I will NOT vote for the man.

Why can't people just accept everyone has different OPINIONS of Obama (or McCain for that matter)!!!!!

Sorry for intruding. I've stayed away from the CB for 4 months and didn't realize what this thread was all about.

Don't worry, I won't be back.

I hope that you will be back so you can see this!

If you look back in the thread you'll see quite a bit of arguing over why some don't want to vote for Obama. This has been going on for a long time and goes nowhere. I believe that it's those posts that are being referred to. Your post wasn't like that at all. :thumbsup2

::yes::

No, barbeml, your post was not the post I was referring too.

I have no problem with people deciding to vote for Obama. Sure I don't understand it BUT I will respect your choice.
All I ask if the same respect about MY choice in NOT voting for the man and voting for McCain instead.

I feel this should be a place away from all the hassle about who I am voting for. Instead a few come in here and talk about how I basically was never a true Hillary supporter if I don't vote for Obama or I don't give a crap about the Supreme Court.

That makes sense. I can't imagine Rush Limbaugh or the "fair and balanced" Fox news running with this information. Especially Limbaugh who DETESTS McCain.

So tell me dont most of the OS watch MSNBC :confused3they are the most unfair and unbalanced news there could be:thumbsup2

:wave2: Remember me from the other thread??? Its me DISUNC!

It nice here, so new, so clean. Real 'creative title"....:rolleyes1 just sayin!:snooty:

:woohoo: Carry on Clintonites!:yay:

Hi pr....that is what many here have been saying ...that we are trying to make the best choice for us and what we feel is best for our country. And for some here Obama is not it....that does not make us bad people...hust people with different points of view :upsidedow

I'm here, I'm here
Hi everyone ...figured to keep the same name and we can work on changing it we feel so. But before we get booted thought we should start.

For those that are just coming aboard....some of us are now OS...some are now for McCain...some are still undecided and some of us will not vote...but we still have one thing in common....we are still HS...

So come and join us everyone is welcome.
Wanted to let you know that I added this to the first page....is it okay with everyonepopcorn::

:thumbsup2 Yep, love it especially that we are STILL Hillary supporters!

So thought I would do a stroll around the CB to see what was new on there....all over the CB there are threads on Palin and McCain and on everyone of them there are the OS trashing everything about them just as was with Hillary...I dont mean debating but trashing :confused3

Can't the OS debate without trashing. So many OS ..not all ....seem to not be able to help themselves. Than they wonder why we and so many fight back with them. Why is it that they have so mush trouble with our vote...as if we don't vote for Obama than we are bad people.

I understand that they are so devoted to Obama ...and that is fine with me....I am glad that they have there choice and that they are dedicated to it....but why find the need to trash us that have not yet.

I don't get it. I mean as much as we all wanted Hillary we were not obsessed with her in the same way the OS are. I jsut don't get it popcorn::
