I like that viewpoint of the castle too. We don't usually go that way, so it was like forging a whole new path.
Did you try for a reservation through Disney or did you try calling the restaurant directly? Disney used to have just a small subset of reservations available, but there are more choices through the restaurant. Although for awhile I don't think T-Rex was part of the dining plan but it is now, so that may be a factor in the difficulty getting a reservation there.
Maybe you still can sit near the tank. They should call that "The Splash Zone" now.

It was a very good morning. The boys were pretty happy.
This was breakfast. Second breakfast for you Hobbit lovers. We have had both breakfast and dinner, but never lunch at Kona, although I have looked at the menu and it sounds yummy.
Those
Lego pictures are from 2 years ago and since then we have acquired at least 20 more sets, possibly 30 (including ALL of the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit sets). No. I was NOT kidding!
Off Topic-
Just want to say once again, congratulations to Emmy and Jordan and to your family on their engagement. I didn't want to hijack your trip report with personal details, but since this one is mine, I thought I would share here.
Mark and I started dating when we were sophomores in high school. The age Nate is now. YIKES!!! After 3 years we got engaged, and we married a couple of years later, in between our junior and senior year in college, age 21.
We have been married for 27 years and honestly, neither one of us can picture what life would be for us without the other.
Aw I totally get this (we too married quite young and have been together for 26 years this June). You can see the love in the monorail photo of you and Mark
We were young, but whenever someone would comment about whether it was a good idea to get married without having dated others first, my efficient engineer-to-be husband would comment "I wouldn't waste my time dating someone I wouldn't consider marrying"
Everything I have heard about Emmy and the comment about Jordan talking to your husband before proposing leads me to believe that this is a very mature couple who are very considerate of others and have a very bright future together.
Congratulations to the happy couple! My eldest is engaged and it is a very emotional moment when a young man comes to ask for your daughter's hand but I love that he did
Good strategy, going for the other choice.
Love it when I get something right
Can't wait to hear how your son's "present" to you works. Hopefully he will enjoy the rides, too. RnR was Nate's threshold coaster- once he rode that, there was NOTHING he wouldn't try!
This is my hope but even if it doesn't happen I figure I will have got to ride most things
Oh and I edited my post as I meant ToT not HM lol
Oh my gosh- I went back to look at the Lego pictures and you are right! Those two drawers should have been switched!!!

Yes, we are now adults with a real Living Room. In our prior house, the two front rooms- dining room and living room- didn't have furniture for a very long time. I called it our
burglar protection . If someone looked through the windows, they would say "These people don't have **** "stuff" and would pass us by."
I'm still living this plan lol It always comes down to house things or Florida and hands down Florida/WDW have won each year so far !
Maybe those of us from the north are just so frustrated by the short swimming season that we try to stretch the season, but we wear clothes because the water is too cold!
Thanks!
I liked taking ride photos of the boys on Buzz, but I have no idea why my score always stinks!
