Ok, will kick off with the only low:

despite 3 attempts, we didn't catch Fantasmic (we did end up watching it on you tube) after the show was cancelled 3 times for bad weather, technical issues, other stuff...

highs

resort (POR) was brilliant, so pretty and not at all too big;
easily manageable queues at parks, using fastpasses, no queue more than 30 mins;
food (DDP) so much better than expected;
CM's were fab - so friendly. polite and great with children and gluten free DH;
transportation system brilliant, really didn't need car;
character interaction fabulous, children loved it;
cocktails lovely ;-);
the number of times my husband said; "wow, how lucky was it that we found this place / got fastpasses for this / booked this accomodation" lol ;-)

So glad you had a wonderful time. Like you I don't think POR is that big at all. Yes it is compared to POFQ, which is the smallest on site but its small compared to CB..all the buildings are within a few mins of the main one and it is oh so pretty and quiet.

So it looks like we will have to try and catch Fantasmic from day one to make sure we see it. Have seen it many times before but do love it.

We rarely have a car because of the reasons you said...it would just sit in the car park at POR. It just seems a complete waste of money to us.
