Highs:
Crush's Coaster - Park officially opened at 10, but gates opened at 9:30. Rode Crush and went on our way to Disneyland by 9:55am. The line was incredibly long by the time we left. We learned from this board to get there early! THANK YOU!
Weather - Cloudy all day but sunny by the afternoon. Just perfect cool weather.
Beer - Available in the Hyperion Cafe! LOVED IT!
Fast Pass - It just worked out that every time we got a FP, one would be available soon after for the next ride we wanted. We FP'ed all the rides to our advantage!
Toad Hall - I <3 Toad and eating at Toad Hall was perfect - no lines, edible food, a tad expensive - but TOAD HALL!
Transportation - Took the RER from Paris and then back again - a perfect day trip!
Details - This park is so beautiful! I hope the refurb to WDW's Fantasyland is comparable (but I doubt it). They have a windmill even if it's only a CS for snacks!
Phantom Manor - Read the backstory before you go and it'll make perfect sense.

LOWS:
Smoking - Really? So many people need to smoke EVERYWHERE? Gross.
Smoking - Did I mention this already?
Walt's - Closed for refurb - WAAAHHHHH!

Glad you had so many high's, we really liked Toad Hall too.

Smoking is a much discussed issue on here, as a Florida veteran but Paris novice I too was surprised, but didn't let it spoil our enjoyment.

I actually saw 2 people smoking at a petrol station, and why they have to light up soon as they get inside the theme park I really don't know...anyway less of that, nice to see you had a good time. :)

welcome back :goodvibes
would like to hear more about meal in Toad hall. Will you write a review? Or post in your TR? :worship:

Smoking... Why people smoke? Ban smoking:mad:

Can you tell me what your average temps were for the days there?
We are traveling there on January 6. I am curious about temperatures.

was the RER super crowded going back and forth to Paris? We're going to be doing this March 15th. :thumbsup2

Did you only do Crush in the studios? Was curious about queue's for TOT and RNRC. ;)

Oh and I dread the cigarette smoke too.

I hate all the smoking, too. Last time I went there was a group of students smoking weed in the queue line for RC Racer :confused3 It really upset me, ruins the magic a bit, especially as a CM walked right past and didn't say anything.

DH smokes, but whenever we go to a theme park, zoo, farm or any other children orientated place he doesn't smoke at all. Shame others can't be so considerate.

I am glad you had a great time, always good to see the list of highs being much longer than the list of lows!! :thumbsup2

Sounds like you had a great time!! :) More highs than lows:thumbsup2

Im really dreading the smoking too!....Me and my partner are both non smokers! So when i am around it smells so so strong!
I dont have a problem with people smoking, If they want to fair enough.
But i just hope people dont do it while queuing for a ride?! You cant really get away from it! I def dont want it in our faces or especially my DS face.

Can anyone tell me if those cool portable/personal fans are available for purchase at either DL or WDS? :confused3

I also hate the smoking. It should only be done in designated areas as it is in America.

The Windmill (Old Mill) used to be an attraction! It was a (little!) big wheel. They shut it down because it had a very poor capacity. The queues for it were very long and it led to a lot of dissatisfied guests.

Sounds like you had a great trip:goodvibes
