Hi all, not gotten time to get online much since our return on May 22nd but I will be making time to relive it all by doing a full TR very soon! Just said I'd come on and do a highs and lows to start the ball rolling :)

So starting with the Lows
- the wait in immigration! Over 2 hours and then the guy we dealt with was a complete pig! Very nice how-do-you-do!
- Budget car rental! One word - AVOID!! The guy we dealt with at the desk was so rude and pushy, I firmly said no extras and he got really stroppy. Didn't realise til we got home that he had added a tonne of extras costing us over $600!! Luckily we rang a really helpful agent who refunded us but thats not the point!!
- the tantrum Will threw on our first MK day! The day I had been dreaming of for months, tantrum lasted about an hour from the time we left the car! He was over tired but after a snooze he loved it, pity bout the tantrum but ya know kids!
- Will had a bout of diarrhea for 2 days which was not fun! On the upside I used Desitin nappy rash cream I got in Walgreens and his nappy rash was gone after one application! Parents take note, this stuff is magic! Needless to say I stocked up ;)
- family trip! This was both a good and bad thing but after spending so much time under one roof with my "loved ones" I'd rather not do it again....as in EVER lol! Great to have a built in baby sitter though ;)

Onto the Highs then....
- Will was a dream child on both the outbound and inbound flights! He had everyone around us charmed! Slept literally the whole way home which meant I got to as well ;)
- Our second MK day was one of my favourite days EVER! Just me and my two boys in my fave place on earth! Bliss!
- Chef Mickey for breakfast! Very pleasantly surprised This is now on our must do list!
- Feeding dolphins at SW. Lovely memory and pics from this experience and only $7 per tray of fish (3 fish per rough on avg) Definitely recommend!
- Discovering the beauty of Bahama Mamas!! Deeeeee-lish!!
- Kraken front row, hands down my fave every time!
- Safari in AK. Without a doubt the best time I've ever been on, I've rode this about 10 times before and its always been a bit bla, this time was excellent. Giraffes came right up to us and got great views of everything! Will absolutely loved it too :)
- The weather! It was fabulous every single day.

And I saved my best news for last! We brought back that souvenir we were hoping for - I'm due baby #2 in February 2014! Another Disney stowaway like Will was lol :)

Aww! Congrats on baby #2. That's awesome news. What a wonderful souvenir.

Totally understand about the family trip lol. Fun and stressful at the same time ha ha!

Well done for riding Kraken and on the front row too!

Can't wait to read your TR. x

Aw good news :) I got a Disney baby too 15 years ago (courtesy of a 24 hour flight delay and enforced airport hotel imprisonment) ;)

So your plan worked then :)

Massive congratulations on Baby #2! I was wondering how your trip went, glad you had a great holiday. Look forward to reading your TR :)

Sounds like a magical trip in every way :goodvibes

Aww sounds like you had a fab time, cant wait to read your trip report! Congrats on your pregnancy!!

Congrats on baby #2 :goodvibes Chloe was a Disney souvenir too :thumbsup2

Chloe has also had a meltdown in MK before so we just left :rolleyes1

Glad you had a good trip :goodvibes

Congratulations on baby number 2 - not the sort of souvenir I'd personally want to be bringing back from Disney but each to their own :rotfl2:

I'm so glad you had a lovely trip. Front row of Kraken has got to be one of my best ride experiences :thumbsup2

sounds like you had a lovely time.
Congratulations on Baby #2 :cheer2:

congrats!
sounds like it was a fun trip (except for the lows!!)

i sure hope our immigration goes better!! 2 hours!!! :scared1:
we're going through JFK, i sure hope we get through faster than that!!!!
we have a connecting flight to catch!!! (as for pigs, many of them are - sometimes they're very nice, but more often that not, they're as surly as can be - no matter how friendly and cheery and joking i am....to no avail...can't even squeeze out a smile.... )

congratulations on baby #2 pixiedust:

Sorry but I did chuckle out loud about going with family and not again ever!! We did that and said that also:rotfl: Believe me the pain does go away eventually:)

Looking forward to your TR...

Congratulations on the special souvenir. I bought one home from my honeymoon nearly 25 years ago!! We always say that she should have dual nationality! And she's been a real Disney lover all her life.

Pam

I was wondering where you had got too. Wonderful news congratulations :-)

Know that feeling Joh - I do not want anymore of those souvenirs they are very expensive :rotfl2::rotfl:

Thanks guys :) DS was a Disneymoon baby so it only seemed fair to give his sibling a similar back story lol! I promise I'll be back on over the weekend to at least start the TR, I kept a journal and wrote in it religiously every night as I plan on making a scrapbook for Wills first trip!

As for family trips, if I ever mention one again please cyber slap me!! lol.

Mrs Tigger, hope your trip went well hun! I kept my eyes peeled but our paths never crossed!

Congratulations on your news - how lovely.:goodvibes
