Saturday 11-6-04..... Even with getting in late the previous night, I was up at 6:30 to get ready for EE at MGM. We had breakfast in the room but still did not manage to get to MGM until about 8:30am. Actually that worked fine. We just missed the crowds waiting at the gates and didn't have to deal with the rush.
We did Tower of Terror (our favorite) several times and then onto RnR which we did only once. Once is enough for us. After RnR, I stopped in the ladies room. On my way out I met my 2nd Diser. I am so sorry I cannot remember your board name. She was a very nice lady and we chatted for a few minutes. Since I had never seen Little Mermaid ever in all the times we have been to WDW, we decided to do that. It was a very good show. Then we went to WWTBAMPI two shows in a row. It was my husband's goal to get in the hot seat. Today was not his day, but stay tuned. Later in the trip he actually makes it to the hot seat. We left MGM about 12:30 and took the boat to Boardwalk. We were hoping to have lunch at Spoodles. We checked with several CM's to be sure they serve lunch. They assured us they do. When we got there, we found only the pizza window was serving lunch. So we ended up at ESPN club where we had a mediocre sports bar type lunch. DH enjoyed it because he caught some college football action on the many TVs.
We then took the boat back to MGM, did the movie ride, millionaire again, and muppets. We left MGM about 4:15 and headed to Magic Kingdom. MK was open until 11:00 that night and we always like to experience that park at night.
Our first stop was city hall to confirm our Keys to the Kingdom tour for the next morning. All was in order. Then to tomorrowland got a FP for SM and onto the castle for our 6:10 PS at Cinderella Royal Table. This was a last minute PS for us. In fact we made the PS after lunch at the ESPN club. It took a while to get seated, but we talked with some very interesting people while we waited. Again we had excellent food and service. We had a lovely window seat looking out unto Fantasyland. Twice while dining, Captain Hook and Peter Pan ran by our window.
After dinner we returned to tomorrowland to do SM with our FP. Not a smart choice right after eating. We had not done SM for a while and now I remember why. It is a very rough ride. We continued with the attractions in Tomorrowland and even took time to do CofP. That is really a neat attraction. We watched wishes at 10:00 and left with the masses.
Back to the hotel by 11:00. It was a long day, but we did so much. My feet were starting to feel the effects of all that walking. Again it amazes me how much just two adults can accomplish in a day.
Tomorrow is Keys to the Kingdom Tour at MK at 8:30. There is no guessing if we will make it on time. WE WILL BE THERE!
