Has anyone used the following company before?

http://www.highlandsreservevillas.com

I usually book direct with the owner but have shortlisted one from this site & wondered if anyone had any experience with them? I'm used to being able to check location & ownership myself & am not used to having 'control' taken away ;)

It looks to me as if you are still dealing direct with the owners for a lot of the homes -it does say some are dealt with via the man co - the site is just one that deals with HR only -a lot of the communities do this

Thanks :)

I've taken the plunge and booked - managed to work out the exact location from google earth & a bit of detective work so that's taken a bit of the guess work out of it.

Not stayed on Highlands Reserve before - selling point for DH is that it's walking distance to Applebees (and Happy Hour!) at Berry Town Center :rotfl:

Any thoughts on the area?

When are you going? We'll be staying there from Wednesday so I can give you some info when we get back. I haven't been able to find out much about the area other than there is a Publix right next door.

Thanks :)

There is an entrance to Highlands Reserve at the north end of the estate that brings you out almost at Publix and Applebees.

It's a lot safer than walking the route down the US27

Hi Tracey,

Didn't respond initially as I have never used that site before.

Haven't stayed at Highlands Reserve as we have a preference for staying closer to the 192.
However, of the developments on the US27 it is one of the nicest and not as far south as several others.

There is a good Publix at Berry Town Center.

Cheers for the map Jakey - we're actually staying on N Hampton Drive - so the stagger home will be a LOT shorter :lmao:

Johnny - I'm another who prefers the Formosa area, unfortunatey I was over-ruled this time - men!!!!

I have stayed twice on Highlands reserve in the same villa and love the place. the applebees, Bistro and pub are new since I visited but will be a bonus I am sure.
We needed a bigger villa this time so have had to stay over the road :(

If I bought a villa in Florida I would buy one on HRs the HOA is very active and the place is beautiful due to this :)

You can use the new Westside Blvd to get to 192 and from there you have the choice of the 429 or Sherberth Roads into Disney .You are close to Wal Mart at Cagan Crossings and all the new stuff opened/opening up there and not far from the Chilis there either. Try Randys diner just a little further north on 27 for good food and value also Brunos-an Italian just at the west end of the 192 .
