Wednesday 26th March Aquatica/Wal-Mart
Today was our first full day in Orlando and we had Aquatica planned for today, plus I had booked the cabana as a surprise for the kids, I slept late today and didn't waken till after 8, we had breakfast in the suite of cereal, pastries and juice, the weather was cloudy but the forecast was good with decent temps being predicted, I called Mears cabs and we got a cab to Aquatica, we exchanged our E-Tix at guest relations then entered via the Grand Kahuna entrance, checked in and bag check done as well, DD had her perfume taken off her as no glass was allowed in park, we where then shown to our Cabana we had a choice of the one behind the smokers or the ones on top next to wave pool, our guide seemed harassed yet the park didn't look that full and to be honest for $180 I'd expect better attention,we had a photo taken incl in price, the cabana was nothing special and was pretty small, in the fridge we had 8 water, 4 Pepsi and 4 fruit punch all pint bottles

The kids went off in search of adventure, both myself and DW set about reading our books, the sun broke through the clouds and it was pretty warm, we purchased the wrist band for the day at the Banana Beach Cook Out, not sure about value for money but its convenient and saves carrying the cash about, the food is okay and we ate here twice through out day, you aren't allowed to take any food out but you can take out juice etc, the cranberry juice was very nice and refreshing, the kids appeared through out the day and we all tried the wave pool but nothing beats Typhoon Lagoon, the kids liked this park and seeing the dolphins was good as well

When we returned from lunch someone had pinched my chair, this was a problem throughout day as Aquatica do not make it clear to other guests that the Cabanas are private and are paid for separately, to be honest if they really expect to sell these in the future they will need to relocate them or reduce the price they are not as good as the ones at DC or HRH, we stayed till 6:30pm before heading back to Cypress Point, obviously some shopping was done as well as you get 25% discount with Cabana so DS got some *********** shorts and T's,on way out of the park we picked up DD's perfume from guest services, a taxi back to resort, before heading back out to Wal-Mart wont bore you with details, but $600 later and we could leave, but not before setting off the alarm at the doors, where we had the rudest sales asst search our bags and check our receipt to ensure it was all paid for, so rude in fact that I asked her if she spoke English when she said yes I asked her if she had ever heard of the word please or thank you and I suggested she used those words our take the trolley load back for a refund, she did say thank you when handing back receipt, cab back to room, then a nice hour or two relaxing on the balcony with a glass of wine

I have been to many walmarts..they are not the most nicest ppl in the planet... i have seen a few exceptions.. but those are rare
