Higher rates on weekends?

Are rates now higher on Friday and Saturday nights? I thought I'd heard that, but can't find it anywhere... I usually book DVC, but surprise! I'm gonna be out of points next year.

Yes they are, and of course holidays are higher as well

For 2009 I do not believe that all weekends cost more. Here is a page that has all of the rates for 2009 and shows which weekends cost more.

From what I have seen in 2009 weekends are no more than weekdays, Holiday weekends are more expensive, You may however be more likely to get a discount on a weekend depending on inventory.

From what I can tell this situation has existed for a while, but am not sure when it changed. I am pretty sure when I checked in 2007 there was a differential.

As a DVC member who stays on points during the weekdays and CRO or DVC cash on weekends it is great.
