Was wondering if this is a must do......

I know i'd enjoy it but not sure if hubby would care to. I guess I can talk him into it if we're lucky enough to even get a ressie for it.

Everyone raves about palo brunch and dinner is this another 'Must do' too?

TY in advance:D

My wife and I did all three on our 7 day cruise in January and will be going back in October for another cruise and will be dropping the high tea. The brunch and dinner were just wonderful and the service was just superb!! What they served at high tea just wasn't very special and my wife was not impressed; she's quite the high tea connoiseur.

Hope this helps!!

Personally, high tea is a major must-do for me. It's one of the things that I miss the most when we do out three day cruises. I have the menu and photos on my website so you can see for yourself. I ADORE the scones and Devonshire cream, and I love flavored teas. The finger sandwiches as yummy, too.
If you can't get reservations for it on the ship and you are spending some time in the Orlando area, you can get something very similar at Sherlock's in downtown Celebration.

I am going to High Tea on the "Shrimpfest" cruise - just because Barb recommends it.

Cinderellamommy:

Just tell your husband that there will be food there, maybe that'll make him want to go :p Seriously, usually the food and desserts are very good at a tea. I took my husband and 2 sons to Afternoon Tea while we were staying at the Grand Floridian a few years ago and they didn't mind it at all because all I really mentioned beforehand was that we'd be going there for a light meal, and they didn't give me a hard time. They enjoyed it, and now my husband likes going to tea whenever we have the opportunity to. From what I've read on these boards, there are many husbands who go to tea while on the cruise. I'm hoping to get a reservation for this when we cruise this summer, and my husband even wants to do the tea at the GF again while we're at the Polynesian :teeth: I guess I have him trained right (in one respect, anyway). LOL

P.S. I agree with Rae; if Barb recommends it, it MUST be good! ::yes::

Remember. I'm going leave one (1) bowl of Orange Mango Soup with your name on it at the end of our cruise. Go to Parrot Cay.:teeth:

Well, let's see if I can remember it all...finger sandwiches (very yummy!), scones, wonderful tea, chocolate eclairs, parfets. I think you DH will find something that he will enjoy. :)

Thank you all for your responses.

One more quick question... When is High Tea offered? Are there only certain days they offer this on Eastern Itinerary? What about Western?

TY in advance:D
