So I got up early today for a chance to book High Tea at Palo - only to find the only Palo option open was dinner. Very, very dissapointing. I thought they were supposed to open some of them up on the opening day of each grouping of Castaway Club levels -- I guess I missed it. I think in hindsight - they should have had the equivilent of High Tea at Remy to account for the 40% higher occupancy on board as well as the shorter trips and lack of sea days. Just sad as I was really looking forward to that.

All I can say is KEEP CHECKING! We were on the 02/27 Dream, and did High Tea ... there was only ONE other table in the entire place. It was awesome for our group of 4 because the other couple left quite early and we had the entire place to ourselves! After I got home, someone posted on these boards how they tried to get High Tea for our same sea day, and went and asked to be waitlisted, but never received a call. I was shocked because the place was empty! So I suspect that there's something wrong with their ressie system. Can't believe that a total of TWO tables was the capacity! :rotfl2:

Good luck! We only did it because brunch never appeared to be available for us that day. And we had a great time. Even DH said he'd do that again for sure! :thumbsup2

Good point. If the demand is there, they should try and accommodate more guests. Remy would be a good additional location.

Remember to try to book after boarding...and even call them the next day. People do cancel, and not all ressies are made available on line in advance.

They release all bookings that will be available online for Palo and excursions at the 120 day mark. No additional ones are released at each booking level though sometimes things open up because people cancel before the cruise.

This has worked for us the past two cruises. I now always join the meet group for our cruises and, invariably, there are a number of people who would like to enjoy tea together. We've had to wait til we were onboard but we've got a table for 8-9 together both times. It was really delightful.

Palo puts us as a large round table in the center of the place and we feel quite special!

I woudl love to do this we love tea time:)
but I have two DD's can they go to this and how much more it it? We'll be on the dream....

No one under age 18 allowed in Palo at any time, for any meal.
