High Tea in Palo's?

What days and time is the High Tea in Palo's offered? Thanks.

I think it starts at 3:30 (possibly could be 3), and it's only offered on the days at sea. High tea is the best!!

Is there an additioal cost for high Tea at Palo's and is there a dress code? I thought everything at Palos was at an additional cost.

This is the one Palo event that does not have an additional cost.
Personally, tho', I think they should charge people who do not show up, as that was a big problem on our last Western. We attended the tea on the last day at sea, which was held at the same time as bingo. Literally, there was only us, another couple, and one other person! The other people who had ressies didn't bother to come, and of course it was too late to call anybody on the wait list. I think that if you don't show, you should be charge $20. It was such a waste of good food.
I'm not sure what the official dress code is, but I wouldn't wear jeans or shorts, just "dressy casual" wear.

We had the same experience as Barb. We had a group of DISers and were in the private room. There was only one other table occupied in the main dining room. SO, if you get closed out on embarkation day, be sure to put yourself on a waiting list and follow up that day.

Which is better, the high tea at Palo's or the high tea at WDW Grand Floridian?

My mom wants to do one, but we're not sure which one we should do.

Ok, the Scot in me coming out but I would say the one on the ship as it is free! I have never done the one at the Floridian but the one onboard is excellent but you do have to sign up for it as soon as you board.

Has anyone been on the Rum Point Beach Excursion? I was wondering if you had to stay there the whole time. The brochure states that it is 5-5 1/2 hours but in the fine print at the bottom, it states to add two hours for transportation. I am afraid that 7 hours may be too long in that kind of heat. Any thougts?
