High Speed Internet at OKW?

Is high speed internet available at OKW? How about a Wifi Hotspot? If not, why not? Inquiring minds want to know!!!

All OKW villas have a broadband connection. Cost is $9.95 for a 24 hour period. Bring your own network cable (I think housekeeping may also have some available).

I don't think that wifi is available.

Dialup is also available if you have a provider with a local access number.

There is high speed internet in each room. The cost is 9.95 for a 24hr period. I didn't realize it until we got home that they didn't bill me for the time used. You will need to bring a patch cable with you. I would get a 25 foot one.

Housekeeping has Ethernet (sp?) cables avalaible (no charge) for use if you don't have one or forget to bring it.

Not me! I brought my computer and was able to check on work (I provide support via the computer) as well as download my photos to an online sharing site and share them with friends and family not with us. It was great for them to have access to the photos the same day we took them. The key to getting the most of the 24 hours is to actually get two days for the price of one. I would sign on one morning and then again at night and then one more time the following morning but a bit earlier then the previous day. Thus only using one 24 hour block. : )

Actually that is a fairly reasonable fee.

I was able to do a 24 hour period every other day and cover what I needed to without any problem. I used a simular method to Disney Hot Mama. I would sign on in the mid day break and pretty much stay on for 24 hours. Then I was off for 24 hours. (The machine was on for 24 hours, I wasn't there watching it all the time!)

At other hotels it is about $10 a day until checkout. So if you don't log on until you get back from the park at 10 pm, your session expires at 11 am the next day. I like the 24 hour period billing.

I used it and it seemed kind of slow, but better than dial up. Anyone else notice this?

We just got back from OKW and used the Internet and they did not charge us for it this time.
Housekeeping gave us the Ethernet cable right away
I think because they are putting it in and testing it while the other buildings are being built, they are giving it free.
For four days we were not charged the $9.95. It was great

Oh my goodness, I meant Saratoga Springs. Please forgive me. We had just made reservations today for OKW and I guess I had that on my mind. Duh!!!!! It is late, I must go to bed now.
