How much are you paying?

In the $600 range for the photo package. My mom decided she needed a 16x20 of me and everyone in the family needs pictures too. I've got a big exploded family so it's a lot of people.
The actual sitting fee was $25, because we got the "early bird special".

We have a small family, so we didn't need to order a huge package. It's about $325 including the sitting fee.

Of course, it all depends on how many photos you need and how many outfits and poses you choose. I think girls may want to change their outfits more than boys. Our son's pictures include a casual outfit, suit and tie and cap and gown.

We are in the $600 range also. We took casual shots with a photographer who has been taking her picture since she was 2 years old, then cap and gown were taken by the required school photographer, then we did a shoot with the team photographer because she is an officer on the drill team.

Less than $200.00 including two sitting fees. Much to DS's chagrin, I didn't like the first set! I bought only what I needed, and stayed away from the packages.

When I was a senior (long time ago) our pictures were taken in school, just like everyones. We didn't have to wear special outfits or cap and gowns....what a racket they have made this into.

Nothing this year since we have no Seniors after being hit twice in a row!

Last year, I believe we paid $150 for Jolene's professional ones, which were primarily for Us and grandparents. The rest were taken with a digital camera and if you ask me, they came out just as good as the professional ones!

I agree, it has become a huge racket nowadays!

Wow you people spent a lot of $

DS had to have his done by a deadline of Oct. 1 so I took him to SEARS...I've been getting his pictures there since he was born. He had 3 different outfits,many different backgrounds and colors some with trumpet, class ring closeups, Golf Club shots, some in Black and White for my old family picture collection etc...

We got plenty of pictures all different sizes and online share plan where you can send family members pictures online
For Under $100

They really came out Great! We're very happy with the fact that the pictures were available next day online!

we didnt get to have any casual shots..it was just with the gown..and then with the drape..i think we spent 200-300 on mine

I went to the place all the kids were going and I didn't like any of the pictures.
It takes a minute or two for my girls to be comfortable and they don't take any time at all at those places.

I went to another place and absolutely loved the settings, the time they took and just everything. She had several clothing changes, inside and outside pics, and the wonderful smile I see every day. We bought enough for the big family, but nothing more than I had to. It was $500. But these will be the last pics that are taken until she gets married. And if I can, I will hire this place again for those pictures. I loved them.

We spent about $360 including the sitting fee and a 16 x 20 that DH had to have. It was a good sized package and the pictures were great. This was 2 years ago.

I spent about $500 for my DS's. We did casual and formal shots. I only wanted to spend about $300, but they came out really good.

I got off really lucky on Ash's senior pics. My SIL was just starting her photography studio and she took the pics for us and only charged us for the processing. We went to a university campus and got some great outdoor shots as well. I was very pleased with them.

This was after I took her to the studio that had the school contract. Those pics just didn't turn out well, neither Ashli nor I liked them very much. Thankfully there was one that we both liked 'ok' because that is where they get the pics for the yearbook.
