We're going in Aug-Sept. I was wondering what shows or anything else HSM I can find at Disney?

I would be interested in hearing about his as well. DD9 and DD6 would love to catch a HSM show. When we went last year (Sept, 11-22) the show was not going on as they were updating to include HSM2.

There is a High School Musical pep rally show at DHS in front of the big hat. It runs several times each day, and it's really cute. You can check your times guide when you there there for the exact times.

The HSM show at Hollywood Studios runs several times during the day. We caught parts of it probably 3 times while touring the park last week. Also, the Studios had TONS of HSM merchandise.

pretty much everywhere for merch. photopass also has a photographer or 2 at DHS walking around with HSM props (nothing particularly special) that they'll do a mini photo session with

if you catch me in the parks... I will perform my one man re-enactment of HSM:the original. If you stand really far back and squint your eyes, I still look nothing like like Zac Efron.

I know at least one shop on Main Street in MK had HSM merchandise. It was on the right side as you are coming in. That was last May, it may not be there anymore.

If you DD is a huge fan of HSM....be there early and catch the Pep Rally at DHS! Just back from our 1st trip and we made special trip to DHS just for this how for my DD6 who LOVES HSM. It was the highlight of her trip. We arrived 45 minutes early for a seat in front.
Ask a CM when you are there where to stand, it's worth asking the question to have a spot right up front for your die hard fans. When you are there, look for the "gold line" on the ground and stand with your toes touching it. It will be on the right side of the hat if you are standing directly in front of it. We lined up right on the line. DD6 was pulled into the Pep Rally 3 different times to dance with the cast! We have priceless video and pictures that say a million words with the smile on her face. If you have kids that love HSM - get there early......they will love the show!!

Legends of Hollywood sells a ton of HSM merchandise. It is pretty much everywhere, but DHS does have the biggest selection.

Also, you can have a HSM2 poster made for your child with their picture included with the gang. We had ours made at Epcot- at the Kodak spot behind Figment. It was $25 - my daughter absolutely loves it!!!

Is Epcot the only place for the poster? Don't think we're going there.

Nice to meet you!
I believe there is a place at DHS that you can purchase the poster, I am just not sure where it is located in the park. Maybe a fellow DIS'er could help out with that one.

The gold line is inset into the pavement and difficult to find if you are not looking for it. Remember to ask a CM, they will be happy to tell you where the best place to stand is. Have a fabulous time!

On another note, I noticed that you are from Barnesville. I am familiar with the area - we have family living down that way.
