For CT?? Its noon and they still have floor seats left.

I got tickets for the worcester show. I was set to get the expensive ones, however at 10 my DH couldn't get them. We got the $48 tickets and my friend and I spoke on the phone, we got tickets near each other, but them at 11 she said that her DH was online and they had floor seats available. What is up with that? Shouldn't all tickets be avaialable at the same time?

I think all tickets should be available, but they hold some back for the general sale. Also, if tickets are sold through ticketmaster, dont forget they hold back the prime seats for auction. Right now, the auction price for the lowest bid for center 1st row floor (right in front of the stage) is $250 per ticket for Continential Arena in NJ.

just got ours - can't wait to see her face on Xmas morning!!!!!!! :sunny: She hasn't even heard about the concert yet!!!!!

Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed for decent weather so we can make the drive!!!!

Opted for lower level seats over floor seats way back.

Does anyone else have the "bid for premium seats" option - I might try that - see if we can get close up - depends on just how high those tics go though !!!

:wizard:

I have been bidding on seats for a few days now. There are 4 days left and i'm still winning 4 tickets for floor seats rows are somewhere between 6-10. I don't think i'll know the exact row until (IF) I win the bid.

Kelly - :thumbsup2

good luck!!! :sunny:

Our bidding doesn't start until tomorrow!!! I will probably bid low to begin with to see what happens. I have a feeling I won't want to go as high as needed, but we'll see! :wizard:

Part of me is just glad I got tickets and we are going - part of me thinks "wouldn't it be great to be in front!!!"

Which is nuts.. I hate that the arenas do the auctions.. .its one thing if its a charity auction but if the arenas wanted to make more money they should of just charged more for that section.

Yeah I started the bid low at $70/ticket (minimum required) and I have not gone any higher. I don't think I will go higher either if I'm outbid. I just can't see myself paying any more for them. Don't get me wrong, I really do want to take my son (the show here in Milwaukee is on his 5th birthday) but I really can't bid too much more than that. So wish me luck I guess :)

We ended up in section 121 for the Cleveland Show. They are ok, I guess, but we are going to try again in the morning.

Right now for the Milwaukee show the bids go as follows:

Row 1- Lowest bid is $140
Row 2- Lowest bid is $110
Row 3- Lowest bid is $100
Row 4- Lowest bid is $90
Row 6 through 10- Lowest bid is $70 (I'm in this catagory)
Row 12 through 16- Lowest bid is $70
Sections 5, 6, and 7 Rows AAA & CCC- Lowest bid is $70

do you have to bid a specific row - and your bid counts for that row only - or does the amount of your bid push you back from the front as the bids climb higher? Thank you!!! :sunny:

Good luck - hope it works out!!!!! :thumbsup2 :sunny:

According to what i've read on ticketmaster, the amount of your bid pushes you back from the front as the bids get higher. But seniority also plays a part in it. If you and another person have the same bid amount, the person who placed the bid first gets it.

Is this bidding something new? I have never heard of it except if you were trying to get tickets on ebay. Tickets go on sale for the genral public in the morning. I am wondering if i should try to get better seats tomorrow..

I had never heard of the bidding before - but it has been a long time since I bought concert tickets!!!!! :sunny:

i actaully never heard of it either but if you go to ticketmasters website you can bid on tickets that have already gone on sale. kinda neat, but you don't know what you're gonna get (if someone bids higher than you)

I totally don't agree with that. They set three prices for tickets and that's what they should be selling them for. 20 years ago when i went to my first concert, we stood in line and whoever got there first got the best tickets. That used to be so fun and the way that it should be done. Now everybody really only concerns themselves with making money any way they can.

I agree that is how it should be. When tickets went on sale here in Milwaukee my MIL and I stood in line at a ticketmaster for 2 hours before the sale started. We were second in line. By the time it was our turn the tickets were gone! And we were SECOND IN LINE! Not only were we disapointed, but so were the 15 or so people in line behind us. My guess is that ticket brokers snatched them up which I don't agree with. If you look online they're selling them for outragious prices.

I hope everyone was able to get there tickets. If I have helped you in any way, your welcome in advance. party:
