High School Musical Question

I know I'm late on the game, but anyway...Am I the only one who finds it a bit yucky that Sharpay and Ryan were supposedly cast opposite each other in every show since kindergarten, since they're twins?

But my girls don't care. DD-7 still is convinced that the principal is Gabs father... just because he said you will like this school etc... Oh young minds.

You know, I was just watching this movie last night with my DS, and I told him I thought it was weird, too. He just shrugged until I mentioned wondering if they ever had to kiss. Then I got a huge "ewwwwww gross, mom."

Sharpay is the blonde girl who plays on the Suite Life of Zach and Cody and her brother guy..

HSM characters of Sharpay & Ryan Evans are supposed to be brother/sister who have starred in all the school plays since kindergarten.

In real life, Ashley Tisdale & Lucas Grabeel are not related, so it wouldn't matter if they were in other movies or tv shows together.

Lucas has appeared in Halloweentown II & III, so you may recognize him from there.

Yes!! I finally saw this movie last night (and Loved it!!) and I thought the same thing! Why do they have brother/sister cast opposite each other in romantic roles? Very weird!
