High School Musical appearances?

Anyone know if any of the cast will be doing any kind of appearance somewhere prior to or to celebrate the release?

I haven't heard anything, but was also wondering if they would be doing anything special on August 17. We will be in WDW, and i was thinking we should be a MGM on that day..lol my girls would be SO excited if they saw any of the cast there...

I hope so! I would love to see the cast! I'll work on it and I'll will be in disney the week after HSM2 comes out.

The Red Carpet Event and World Premiere of High School Musical 2 will be taking place in downtown Disney on August 14th. The cast and such will be walking the red carpet there. Contact me if you have anymore questions. I found some information on the internet.

They'll be at the Downtown Disney area in Disneyland, not WDW, just in case you were thinking it was WDW. It figures.......we're having dinner at Downtown Disney at WDW on 8/14. I was so excited when I read that information until I realized that all of the fun will be in CA.

Wow, I'm glad I didn't tell my daughters about it before I came and checked the thread again. We'll be at WDW, too, and they would have been so disappointed if I'd told them about it.

They're pretty funny, though. Here we're going to be at Disney World, and the request has already been made that we be IN THE HOTEL ROOM on the night of the 17th for the premiere.
