This is a great high resolution map of the entire property - I just found this, it's in the PDF format. To me it's a great tool for planning - I saved a copy to my desktop for future reference...

Just thought I'd throw it out there for anyone who's interested.

I can't find SSR on the map.

Is SSR on Willow Lake just north of Downtown Disney? If so I don't think it's shown on this map. I don't know what year this map is from... It seems fairly current though...

That is the WDW Transportation System Guidemap from 2004. It's a little cleaner copy than the one I have on my Maps page, but it's the same version.

Unfortunately, they stopped producing that map at full size, although there are a few smaller versions of it floating around. I haven't had a chance to get one of the smaller ones on my Maps page yet, but I will eventually.

SSR is not marked on that map because it was not yet open when the map was made. However, you can see where SSR is now on teh map by looking at th big text that says "DOWNTOWN DISNEY AREA." SSR was built in the empty spot directly above that text, and stretches all the way up to Community Drive (which has since been renamed Disney Vacation Club Way). Here it is on Google Maps:

It's a great map. Are you saying that this map (or an equivelant updated one) is not in print anymore?

I know I got a WDW Resort map when I went in May, but I didn't keep it, and I don't recall it being this legible. I was hoping to get a good clean hard copy when I go in a couple weeks...

I have asked about it the last 3 trips I made and haven't been able to get it, so the stand-alone version is probably not in print anymore.

However, there is a smaller version, updated, included in some of the booklets you get at the front desks or the resorts.

This used to be given out for free at the DVC kiosks/desks as a promotional item -- we got ours in 2004 and had the foresight (by accident, really) to hang on to it; even slightly out of date it is SO useful! Wish DVC would go back to this idea....
