I'm hoping someone there now can tell me whether what I'm seeing on a couple of apps is correct. It looks like right now 12 different attractions are down in the MK now. I looked last night pretty late and there was a much higher number of rides down than I would have thought then as well. Some are biggies - 7DMT, splash, BTMRR, etc. That just seems like a high number to me.

Can anyone tell me whether this is right or maybe the apps are off base and just reporting the same incorrect information.

Not there now, but wonder if it's t-storming? When we were there last month, we saw the MDE app list a whole bunch of things as "closed" when they clearly weren't. It only showed up for a minute or two, and when we refreshed it everything was OK.

I'm at Epcot right now and the weather was a huge mess outside before I went into Coral Reef to eat.

Didn't even think about the weather. Thanks so much for the responses.

Yes, if there is bad weather within a certain mile radius of the parks all outside attractions will shut down until they get the okay to start them back up.

I was at Magic Kingdom for a Halloween party one year and the park took a lightening hit and took out almost half the park rides. Basically it was a power surge and it took about an hour for everything to reset itself.
