you shouldnt have too much of a problem...most restaraunts have caught up with the times and offer more "fiber" oriented foods. You can usually find salads and sandwhichs with multigrain breads.( one of my favorites is the columbia harbor house ..they have a great tuna sandwhich on a multigrain bread that is fantastic...also good veggie chili in a bread bowl...) Even the burger places will have some sorts of salads ...chicken ceasar and sides like carrot sticks instead of fries etc. Also my experience with the sit down restaraunts is that they will try to accomodate any dietary requests if you have them...so if you see a dish you just love but it comes with some high carb potato or some such...just ask if you can replace withe something and they'll do it.
