My bed was getting a little, well, tired but I really couldn't afford a new mattress (at least not the quality that I wanted). Instead, I did a bunch of research and ended up buying a High Density Memory Foam mattress topper (3 inches thick). It isn't a Tempurpedic (brand name) mattress, but is the same quality. It's a Sensa. I love love love it. So do my kids--they want to watch TV or nap on my bed all the time now!! I feel like I have a brand new mattress. I bought it for $150 shipped off of ebay (from a dealer, brand-new.) I've seen the same one on retail sites for $200 or more, plus shipping. My best friend has one, as do her parents, and we all love it. Thought this might be helpful to someone. Anyone else have one?
Just a tip for those thinking of getting one--read up on them. You'll probably have to order one, I checked out the memory foam toppers available in stores, and they were all vastly inferior to the one I bought. I can't recommend one of these enough, particularly for those of us with back problems. I love getting into my bed now.
