Hide out in the parks overnight

I remember hearing about cameras as well. Before my senior class trip we had a meeting saying not to even try to steal anything (among other rules). They explained to us a few years before our trip someone stole something at I think MK and there was a tiny camera in a clock that caught them. Because they were under 18 I don't think they got sent to jail but were kicked off of the trip.

My daughter read the book & really enjoyed it. As far as trying to hide there overnite-who would really want to??? I love the magic that Disney offers-make me feel like a kid again-I remember once we had to walk around some of the stores on Main St in MK-had a parade going on or something but anyway although we were able to go behind these buildings-I didn't like it at all-definitely spoiled magic there!!!

who would run the rides if the park was closed?:confused3 Most of the fun, is the rides and characters, without either of them, I don't think it'd be much fun!

I have always wondered what other kind of stuff people have tried to get away with at Disney. I know there is an episode of Friends, where Ross mentioned that they did something and were asked to never return. Very funny in the show.... but I wonder how many other people actually have attempted it??? :confused3

There's a book about a group of kids who spend the night in the Magic Kingdom - I think it's called Kingom Keepers - check it out - it's a great read :)

dude, I read it....and it was sorta scary!!! and I'm 26! haha

good though....

My son just finished reading Kingdom Keepers last week for AR. He is 11 and liked it. He could relate to it and the discriptions of rides and events in the parks. He wants to bring his 3D glasses next time to see if he can find the clues.

DS bought the book 'kingdom keepers' on our last visit to MK, I have read it 3 times now and love it. I wish there was a follow on book.

As for staying in the night - no way, it would destroy all the magic, and that's part of what makes WDW such a special place

Dh and I were talking about this last trip. I would live there and go feral...... sleep in the Swiss Family Tree House, scavenge popcorn at night, stalk through the park. Woo, the power of imagination!;)

I had heard of the series but now after reading this post did check with my library and both books are in right now.

I am getting them on Monday!

There is a follow up book titled "Kingdom Keepers II: Disney at Dawn" which came out in 2008...The books where written by Ridley Pearson and you could do a quick google search on him to find his personal site. He has written many books that you all may enjoy so make sure you look over them...

Is Kingdom keepers something I could read to my 6 year old? It sounds like a fun book.

I will have to check out Kingdom Keepers...............I love From the Mixed Up Files. I still teach using From the Mixed Up Files. My students actually love reading it each year. Even though it is a bit "dated" with the transistor radio and prices of everything that Jamie and Claudia buy it is still an excellent book. I wish I had a video of the movie that was made from the story many years ago. If I remember the movie of From the Mixed Up Files was done by Disney???? OR at least was shown as a Sunday Disney feature on ABC many years ago.

The Kingdom Keepers II, the second book, is available as an audio book from iTunes incidentally.
