Does anyone know any good little secrets or hidden things to look for in a disney ride.

EXAMPLE: In monsters inc: mike & sully to the rescue, I heard that when boo is hitting randall on the head, one of the patterns he changes into is the wallpaper from the haunted mansion.

It's fun to look for those little details. Please share some "hidden features"

PS: feel free to share some hidden mickeys as well.

There are far too many to list in just one post, so here's a few funny little tibtis I remember off the top of my head...

All around the park you'll see the letters WED, which is the abbreviation of WED Enterprises, the company that did the vast majority of design and imagineering for DL. WED comes from Walt's initials, Walter Elias Disney. One example is on the Jungle Cruise, look for a crate in the Lost Expedition area labeled "WED Expeditions".

The demon's face you see in the chair just after the Endless Hallway of the HM is actually an abstract of Donald Duck's face. Look closely, it's there.

Inside the "movie room" area of the Indiana Jones qeue, there is a sign from the Eeyore parking lot. This is there because (IIRC) the building housing the ride was built over what used to be the Eeyore area of the (now gone) 100 Acre Parking Lot (never was sure if it really was 100 acres or just named because it used all Winnie the Pooh charachter names).

Another HM one: Madam Leota (the head in the crystal ball to the uninitiated) is voiced by Eleanor Audley, who also performed the voice of Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty, Lady Tremaine in Cinderella, and worked for WED Enterprised. IIRC, she was a costume designer.

We rode Casey Jr. last night, and my husband noticed that the driver's console had 3 lighted gauges that were a Hidden Mickey!

Tribute on the Matterhorn

As you ride the Matterhorn, you may notice a pick axe and crate in one of the caves. These items are well lit and seen in a snowy area. The crate says, “Wells Expedition” and is a tribute to the late Frank Wells. Frank Wells joined the Walt Disney Company in 1984 with Michael Eisner as the President. Immediately before joining the company he climbed the tallest summit on each of the seven continents. His book Seven Summits about his adventures is a very interesting book. Frank died in a helicopter accident in 1994 and the tribute on the Matterhorn was places there soon after.

Treasure Hunting at Disneyland

If you turn around and look behind you in one of the last rooms on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (I think where Pooh is holding a balloon), you can still see the mounted animal heads from The Country Bear Jamboree (Max, Buff, and Melvin).
