My DD9 found a book of Hidden Mickey's at the book store but there was too much information in the book for her so I told her not to buy it. She would just be too overwhelmed with all the places to look. I told her I know someone on the Dis Boards must have a list thats geared to the younger ones or knows where I can find one.
I would like to find a simple list of maybe 15 - 25 hidden Mickeys in each park? She wants to find the Mickey's check them off and take a picture and make a scrapbook of her hunt. She has her heart set on this "Scavenger Hunt"! (She's totally into scavenger hunts and makes them up all the time.)

Please help ASAP I need to print out everything today.

I would buy the book anyway. Use a few of the spots listed in the book. Steve B. has taken a great amount of time to list the info in the book and it's lots of fun to use. I'd say it's really worth the price.

I'm not sure there's much you can do at this point.

Here's a small scavenger hunt of Downtown Disney:

If you go to this site (the official one for the book you saw)

http://www.hiddenmickeysguide.com/

there is an iPhone app of it you can buy. The book itself is broken into 'scavenger hunts' for each park but I think they are pretty extensive, but you still might want to buy the book at this point anyway if you have time.

Good luck!

I found a FREE site Hidden Mickeys Guide.com. Check it out HERE.

UPDATED: Sorry, for the repeat of info. I just saw this site referenced in the PP.

Make sure you check out Conservation station in AK. There is a mural with toms of hidden mickeys all on the same wall. thery are in the animal's eyes, the spots on the butterfly, etc. This is my kids favorite spot because you see so many at once.

I highly recommend Steve's book - I carry it with me to the parks in my backpack to pass the time while waiting in line. But, in a pinch, you can always visit his website

i guess we will buy the book. Or we might just try to find some on our own.

There just seemed to be soooooo much information and it was overwhelming for a 9 yr old.

I wasnt trying to get the "book for free" I thought i had seen some people here on Dis make some smaller simple lists for their kids. 10 easy to see "Hidden Mickey's" and she wil be happy.

The book will be something you can use over and over again. Buy the newest addition though. I love mine and carry it with every time too. It's great for standing in line because it has the ones to look for on the rides so you could prepare her for the locations. It's really a ton of fun! The ones located in certain stores and restaurants are fun too because the cast members know that you're coming to look for them if they see the book. Take a camera and take pics of the ones you find that aren't on a dark ride that will need a flash and save them to print for a collection!

I just wanted to let everyone know I found some Hidden Mickey clues that i could copy to Word and print out. There are alot of free sites where people post hidden Mickey's they have seen. Im not saying the book isn't worth buying, I'm sure it is, but if you just want to make a little scavenger hunt and have some clues for your kids then i dont think the book is really neccesary.

There is so much free information out there and no one owns the rights to "Hidden Mickey" information as far as i can tell.

It did take me a few hours to weed through the lists i found and pick a few that my DD9 should be able to find without much trouble.

That's cool! Nope, no one owns the rights :goodvibes we just loved the book and like that it's available. Maybe as she gets older it will be something she'll decide to buy for herself, either way, have a wonderful time searching for them!!
