Hidden Mickey Fish

I went to PetSmart today with my kids. The little one always has to look at the fish. They have a tiny fish called a Mickey Mouse Platy that has a Mickey head on its tail!!!!! The fish is white with a black mickey head clearly on its tail. I almost bought a tank just to have one, but then I remembered how I hated to clean a fish tank. These would be great for the Mickey fan who has everything.

Has anyone else ever noticed these fish?

I have, we just found out about them over the summer when we were waiting and counting down the days for our recent trip.

They are a fun and easy fish to have. I have had them for a couple of years. Mine were orange with the Mickey Mouse head near the tail. I have seen yellow ones, too.

I'd love to see some white ones. They would stand out great in a fish tank.

All of mine have died when my tank filter broke while I was on vacation so I'll be getting more soon.

My sister loves fish and she had one in her collection. I think she was heartbroken when it passed away.

That's funny, there was a similar post a few days ago, but it was an orange one. I never saw a white one though! That would be very pretty and different. I'll have to check my Petco because I'm down to only 2 fish and my swordtail could use a couple of friends.

My Dh is going to kill me now!! We have a fish tank and now I am going to go to pet smart to buy all of them!!!

We had 4 of them and they are very hardy fish and go very well with the swordtails (that's what we had them with). Gave them to a neighbor, I just couldn't deal with keeping up the tank. They all had very different personalities and we named them all accordingly (disney names of course).
