Hidden charges in addition to room rates at value resorts?

At Pop Century, are there any hidden charges in addition to room rates that one should be aware of?

No resort fees are charged at WDW resort hotels. The only additional charge would be for the use of the phone. 75 cents per local call and 800 calls. Of course, any long distance use is expensive. Use a calling card and pay just 75 cents for the connection to your 800 number.

The room tax is 11.5%. There is a charge for more than 2 adults in the room (over 18). Preferred buildings have a higher rate.

Preferred buildings at a higher rate is not a hidden charge.
If you require a fridge, for non medical reasons, there is a charge, but, like the ones mentioned before, they are not really hidden as they are disclosed before you reserve (except for the phone, which is disclosed on a sheet by the phone), ie: the reservation will show the tax as part of the final balance.

Just a side note, but "expensive" is a real understatement. A couple trips ago, my cell was charging so I used the room phone to call my aunt in Florida, forgetting about the "surcharge." A ?three-five? minute call was about SIX DOLLARS. Make sure you bring either a calling card or a cell phone!
