Hidden beds

Is there a way to know ahead of time if you have a pull down bed in the room? We are in cabin 6558 and it is supposed to sleep 4. Can anyone help me?

according to the passporter's guide your room is a 4 person room. the hidden bed will come down from the roof by the veranda door just above the couch. i hope this helps

If the room is supposed to sleep 4 then you would definetly have the ceiling pull down bed. Without it the room would only accomodate 3. The way the rooms are set up is the two twins that can convert into one king, the sofa bed which is the sofa flipping over to reveal a bed on the other side and the ceiling pull down, upper bunk bed over the sofa (the only exception beside the suites is that the cat 4 has an additional bed that pulls down from the wall, like a murphy bed).

If you have 4 in your cabin then that is they type they book you into. Our kids thought the magic bed in the ceiling was so cool, even a little light up there, your cabin steward will pull it down each evening and have it ready for you then next day 'put' it away.

Hey sounds great. I think I will keep this a sceret suprise for the kids to add to the overwhelming excitement thats building by the day around here.

We have 2 connecting cat 10 staterooms reserved. We'll have 2 people in one room and three in the other. My DD's are anxious to sleep in the pull down bed. Will they put it down for us even though we don't really "need" the bed?

Yes they will pull down the bed if you request it. My son prefers that bed rather than the sofa. Just let your stateroom host/hostess know that evening and they will continue to make up that bed for the remainder of your cruise.

How high off the ground is this pull out bed? And I am I right to assume it has rails on it? Are the rails long, or the shorter ones?
