Hidden area to find the characters, soon to be gone...

I love to visit the area in Toontown, between Mickey's tent and the train tracks, where you can find many characters without many people waiting to visit with them. I don't think I have ever had more than 2 families ahead of us, to see characters.

All that said... Toontown will be closing down soon.

Does anyone know of other places like this, that seem to be hidden areas to find the characters?

The Animation building in Hollywood Studios.

It isn't hidden. But the lesser know secret is that about an hour before closing, they usually bring out a bunch of rare characters. It is the best place in all of the parks to spot hard to find characters.

Epcot is where we like to visit with the characters ...

The Toy Soldier in the UK Pavilion at Epcot and the Character Landing at DAK are our hidden gems to see the Winnie the Pooh characters.

Taking a stroll around World Showcase is our place to find the Disney Princesses with little waits.

The Character Spot at Epcot is the place to go first thing in the morning for a little or no wait to see the Fab Five.

We've come across a variety of characters entering Epcot at the International Gateway.

When in the other parks, we rarely stop for the characters. Too many attractions to enjoy. But at Epcot, there are just a few attractions that appeal to our children. So, exploring WS and finding characters has made this one of their favorite parks now.

What Jennifer said! I love visiting characters in EPCOT. There are so many and the lines aren't usually too bad for them. There is such a great variety of characters to see, it is our favorite park to do characters.
