All I have to do is drink a regular glass of water. I don't have to do it a special way or anything, just drink the whole thing down...hiccups be gone!
My band teacher one year told me that spoon of sugar actually does work.. kinda weird.. i don't remember how though. It's probably the best tasting cure though..
I always drink a glass of water while someone plugs my ears.
I had an Aunt that if she heard us hiccup she would say that if we hiccup one more time she would give us a dollar, it seemed like when you tried to do it you couldn't.
Drink a glass of water while holding your nose and ears closed (you may need an assistant to hold one or the other or both for you). It always works for me. I can actually hold both closed AND the glass of water too!
Have you ever been in the woods?
Have you ever seen a bear in the woods?
Have you ever seen a rabit in the woods?
Have you ever seen a bear chassing a rabit in the woods?
Should be gone by the time you said this . Works like a charm I do it to people all the time . It was taught to me by a Vet that i work with she said her Grandma did it to her .
Put a butter knife (all metal) in a glass of water, handle side up. Rest the butter knife against you forehead while you drink the water (without stopping. well, until the water is gone). It's the only thing that ever works for me, and it always does .
spoonful of sugar always works for me. My dd had them about a week ago. they lasted about 20 minutes. So, I told her about the sugar cure....she didn't hiccup again. Seems just the thought of that scared them out of her!!!
