Good Morning to everyone from hot  sunny:cool: humid:( Pennsylvania. this has to break soon. If any body has been to the Kennedy Space Center and can give me a little information we would be so thankful. We are staying at the Raddison when we get back from the cruise and are planning a visit to the KCS, Sat for the day and maybe some of the morning Sunday, before we go to WDW for the week. What's the best things to see and do there, how long does it take to tour ,and what to avoid? Has anybody found out about swimming with the sealions. we did the Discovery Cove trip in 2000 and it really was a top ten "life" event. I think swimming with sea lions would be worth the investment. A welcome to JUL and family. Does anybody bring anything to the launch party I hear bubbles are cool? Take care and hope everbody is feeling great! George and Barbara:earsgirl: :earsboy:

Good morning from hot sunny humid NJ. At least the nights have been a bit better. Hang in there, it looks like relief will be here Tues.

Kennedy Space Center - when we last went, there was free admission to walk around and see the different building and then you paid for the IMAX movie or the bus tour, depending on your time and money. Now I understand that there is paid admission which included the bus tour and a movie. Visit the KSC web site for more info.

This is the link to the Kennedy Space Center site. You can check the prices, tours and even purchase your souviners before leaving home.
We were there in April for a launch that did not happen. It was crowded, the bus tour was great, the IMAX movies OK and all food and beverage was expensive.

Hope you have a great trip.

By the way, you do not know hot. Come on down to very sunny, very hot and very humid SC.

I am traveling with a group (6 Girl Scouts and 5 Adults) and someone (sorry...don't recall exctally who:rolleyes: ) suggested that I get small bubble botles, such as the ones that they use for weddings, and use my computer to custom make lables just for the group for the cruise. You know, like "Girl Scout's Cruise of a Lifetime 2004" or something like that.

Dave also has an external link on his site with lots of space coast info. Go to www.dcltribute.com and click on Dave's external links, and you can find additional info about the area.

We were planning to do a tour fo the Space Center when we return from our cruise on Sat. Oct. 12. However, I saw on one of the websites that the Space Center isn't open on weekends. Made sense to me, it is a Federal facility. But is this wrong, has anyone done the tour on a Saturday? Diana

Don't know where you got that info but the Kennedy Space Center is open on weekends.
