I was wondering what time of year is better to go to disney September or October? Also during the MNSSHP when does the park close for people that are not going?

I prefer October. The weather is great with little rain. Plus the F & W Fest is, IMO, the best Disney has to offer.

End of Oct it is getting cooler. Sept is HOT! Disney has been offering Free Dining during September for the last few years so the parks are more crowded and it is hard to get reservations to eat. But if you want to take advantage of that offer then it is a great deal.
